  1. Replaced the needle and seat. Still leaking. I guess the previous owner messed with the float height? Is their any reason to touch this when jetting? This is the only thing it could be correct if the fuel is spilling out from the overflow?
  2. Ok got it. Its inside the seat. Are the numbers just the opening size in the jet?
  3. Thanks for the help but the last part of your post is unnecessary. Based on everything else I have found on this banshee so far, the rebuild kit seemed like a good idea because I have found many missing bolts screws etc. Plus I figured I would replace other seals and parts while I was in there. Other users suggested to just rebuild it while I was in there as well. Now, does it make sense that this kit does not have a needle?
  4. Yea it looks like the upper and lower control arms are the same but the spindle on the right side (with brake) is different from the other side.
  5. You can't really see anything in the pictures. The needle has a very very small indentation around it. Its only slightly viable with a light on it, otherwise you can't see any indentation where the needle seats. I know it is very precise but this is literally nothing. I purchased this off someone who bought it from someone else as a project, they knew very little about it, so I am not sure if it is still the stock jetting. How do I check? The other issue is that my carb rebuild kit does not look to have a needle. Pictures below.
  6. Shit I will I checked the thread again. I purchased the warrior cover and yes, its not a warrior cover.
  7. Thats really good news. The taxes are normal sales tax in PA 6.0% right?
  8. It doesn't matter that the original sale did not originate in PA? Not really sure how all this information flows between states.
  9. No, I bought it used a few months back. I have a signed bill of sale, can I have that notorized after the fact? Most likely Downingtown area outside philly.
  10. I purchased my banshee in CT, where you only receive a bill of sale with ATV purchases. However, I may be moving to PA, if I want to register it there, is there anyway to do this without having a title? I know there are probably some good PA websites that explain some of this, but I figured some people on here may have first hand experience.
  11. I will pull it apart again in a few hours. The weird thing I noticed is that the tip is made of black rubber, so I may not be able to see anything.
  12. Looks like the one side has the 87-89 setup but the other side missing a caliper is different. What pictures would you need to know what model it came off of?
  13. So I took the needle out the other night and found that it was very clean. The needle actually looked to have a rubber tip, which I thought was weird. Anyway, I cleaned what I could, put it back together and it still leaks ALOT out of the overflow. I guess its time to take some measurements and adjust the floats. Also, my choke does not stay out. Is there a simple fix for this?
  14. Is there any advantage to using this over a standard banshee ?
  15. Definitely a warrior?
  16. The bolt pattern looks right. Are there any markings or certain charactistics of the yzf450 throttle that I should look for to be positive?
  17. Ok, then why would this item not be the correct size for the cover? http://www.ebay.com/itm/YAMAHA-NEW-BANSHEE-THROTTLE-COVER-BLACK-BILLET-ALUMINUM-EAST-COAST-ATV-CAP-/291251769310?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item43cff54fde&vxp=mtr
  18. I bought this banshee about a month ago as a project. I might end up keeping it, it really depends. It is a 98 and figured it would likely have 98 brakes on it.
  19. Is this a standard banshee thumb throttle?
  20. Yep thats what I thought. Just wanted to verify. Thanks.
  21. I just want to make sure my rear brake setup is stock. Here are a few pictures. This stayed the same throughout correct?
  22. The reason I ask is because if the older setup is no better or worse, why swap these onto a 98?
  23. Is there somewhere I can get them fairly cheap? Because everywhere I am looking they are atleast $50 each.
  24. Is there a minimum thickness spec out there anywhere like cars?
  25. Is there an advantage to running the older style front brakes? Its a 98. Also here is the master cylinder.
