Once I get the top end together I'll some jetting questions as well, this is my first quad to ever play with.. So far so good.. Fighting the urge to just tip my wallet over and let the fun begin...

I'm not worried about race gas, I need to keep some on hand anyways. Upping the shot on my mustang so I need to keep some on hand to mix with 93 for added safety. So if I go through a few gallons in my quad, no big deal.. For now at least lol. C16? What do you guys use?

Not sure on cranking compression as I just took it apart to see what it was. I believe no porting, just stock cylinders. Here's a pic for you guys that know.

The the 'shee I got the other day was suppose to be a 420cc, but it's actually a 353. Stock length hot rod rod ck 121 Wiseco 64.5mm piston 19cc domes in the cool head. Stock reeds Keihin pwk 28mm carbs w/ k&n pods Stock intake Toomey t5s I took it apart to find out what it was, going to hone the jugs, throw in some new rings, upgrade the water pump impeller and enjoy it for a while. I'm at 600ft elevation. Given those specs what fuel would you say I should use? Do I really need to wait and do a compression check first? Guesstimate? Any idea on where to start on carb jetting? I haven't taken my carbs apart yet. Had the quad for less then a week and it's already in pieces! Lol Thanks in advance.

For a primer? Use it to sync the carbs.

Cory at team alba racing got me all taken care of, they are not alba arms but I think I can make the work, only .20 thou larger so I'm going to give it a shot. Great customer service from him. A+++

I don't think so, I'll have it tore down in a few days and post up the measurements for you guys to help determine what I need. Hopefully not bent as those arms cost more then what I have invested in the whole bike lol

It's a sketchy ride and it's not fun to use the front brakes, I've only had it a few days and I'm going to fix this before I ride it again. I'll have to get a friend of mines caliper to get some measurements, and report back. From looking at pics the armadillo arms appear to have the shock mount further to the outside of the arm

Yes give me a few minutes, I don't have room for the bike in my garage as I'm in the middle of a motor swap on my mustang, so it's across the street at a buddies house. That was the kit I was originally looking at from rocky mountain.

Picked up the quad for $700 Pro design head Nerf bars Itp ss wheels Toomey t5 pipes Suppose to be bored stroked to 420cc Keihin 28mm carbs w/ k&n filters.. It needs work don't get me wrong, and it's kind of ugly. But it starts on the first kick and the powerband comes in strong. Anyways pics of arms as requested:

And I've been googling since Sunday and everything leads me to here with knowledgable people, but haven't found exactly what I was looking for, hence making my account and posting here lol

I was more so worried about fitment being I don't know which arms I have to start with, kind of sucks buying someone else's project that has changed hands a few times. If they'll all fit I was looking at the pivot works set, I just didn't want to spend $200 on something that wouldn't fit.

Just bought my first Banshee the other day, and I haven't been around quads in about 8 years or so, so consider me a noob when it comes to what I need and where to get it, and what is junk and what isn't. I got it at a good price because the a arm bushings are non existent. It has extended a arms but I am unsure of the brand, from doing searches on google images they look close to lone star racing a arms. Do most arms take the same bushings? Any thing I can do to help decide what I need? I also broke my throttle cable, it has the keihin pwk 28 carburetors on it iirc, any better then the rest? Where's the best place to buy parts, price/quality ect..
