  2. it will be later tonight ask your mom if you can stay up late
  3. Ill tell you what I will post some pics of different combinations then we'll chat
  4. hurry Im headed to the speed shop...
  5. whenever your there and I'll bring a small motor too stk. cylinder, against your "big" motor
  6. your question is stupid, but Ill play along on what piston
  7. Im in Michigan too so maybe we will meet at the dunes and see how you run,
  8. im gonna let someone else that understands post, jesus the guy has a motor on carpet in his house for christ sake, sprinklerman you need to stop acting like you know something and go back to watering grass
  9. back in 87 (I know most of you were in diapers) I needed a piston in my YZ250 well we didn't have 1 in stock so I used a Tri-Z piston same except it had windowed intake instead of a cutaway, started the bike sounded fine, got to the track and got 20 feet and said what is wrong with this thing? took a couple laps and said something is wrong, pulled it back to the truck and found nothing, then remembered the piston! took it out right then and put the used YZ cutaway back in, went 5 feet with the worn out piston and said ok thats better all the power is back...my mistake in posting here is your mostly just riders and performance is not what your after so thats was my fault
  10. thats gonna run but it will run like shit.
  11. so what did you do run a spacer plate, dumbest idea ever,
  12. the reason it goes under is because it has no window (solid skirt), look at a YZ piston it has a cutaway, why to eliminate windows that block the intake, the reason for case reed is to eliminate the cutaway that blocks the intake, albeit not as bad as a windowed piston, you guys are making my point for me I just don't think you know it
  13. how does it get there? never mind don't answer that, but try running a full skirt piston like a piston port piston see what happens
  14. no I think your just as slow as these other posters, but believe your actually fast, I was just posting about a new product that finally is correct for a 4 mil long rod, has a 13* top and raised intakes, I'm sure they spent all that money to buy Wiseco pistons without knowing what they were getting, sorry its not my fault you don't understand it!
  15. oh Im sorry I thought the whole charge came thru the intake??? you must run direct injection my fault
  16. are you thinking the intake doesn't do much? why run a V-force, if you use a 795 you block the port off completely, the intake is for making power
  17. I think I'll be closer to the 7 range, the port timing is totally different thats why I bought them, the 795 is the wrong way to go on a 4mil long rod, unless you do extensive head work, then you still have the intake windows do deal with on the 795.
  18. what did you do with the 795 intake windows? Did you leave them stock? These new pistons have the intake windows raised 10mm, at BDC, the port windows are wide open
  19. 795 is for long rod only, to put it in a 4mm stroker, so you still need to deal with the 2mm - either spacer plate or cut out the head 2mm These new pistons make it so that you can run a 60 thousandths base and stock head (since the piston dome is 13 degrees) alot less machining involved to run a 4mm long rod stroker crank wiseco part number is 11882M06450 I bought it as a drop it kit with the .060 base gasket so I didnt need to modify my stock head or raise my transfers another mm
  20. No, this has a 6mm pin offset , the 795 has a 5mm offset plus the windows are in a different spot 795 wont work with a 4mm long rod, only on a stock stroke with longer rods
  21. I got a new set of 64.5 mm Wiseco pistons for a 4 mil long rod, they have the same pin offset as a blaster but have the windows on the intake side raised so the intake is not shut off at BDC and a 13 degree dome has anyone tried these yet?
  22. wow this is an old thread, those pistons work good
