The little I have taken from this forum is appreciated, and to a lot of the members that I have offended with no intentions to I appologize to you, and not even skeeter has really made me that mad, its whatever, the only person that really rubbed me wrong is the one who wants to insinuate I'm poor and stupid right off the bat and try to rub it in to get a laugh, just say I was poor, would that really be funny and how should a person feel about people backing that? I'm not a dick unless need be and sorry to those ones that felt attacked, if you don't like my questions that's cool man, just go to the next, but I will appologize to the truthful smart asses that caught the results of me being offended by a dumbass,I can respect smart ass, just not being an ass.

Not bragging by any means, just the reason I can't just go all out right away, especially by a guy saying I wasted my money on a banshee in a banshee forum just tells me your trying to start fights, its cool though. Keep it coming guys.

I'm good with 52 hp on my daily rider for a first trial run, its not a sand drag, but I am picking up a new block tonight to build from the crank up. The purpose of this bike is to get my family more involved, I am a 4 day a week rider and my wife is fed up with it so I bought her a raptor 350 last weekend and 2 predator 90's for my kids and a banshee is about the only atv I respect, can't hate me for that, but that's the reason I'm a little spent on play money right now, I spent 7 grand just getting everyones toys in a two day period and now I have dumped 600 in my cylinders and head, 200 in nerf bars, and about 500 between new top end, reeds, timing plate and airpods. Its an addicting bike.

Let me guess, everyone here started at the top? If I leave a sour taste in your mouth, good, because if I did its because you deserved it, you want to be a dick I will be a dick right back, I don't back down but will show appreciation to those that deserve it, what's funny is all you douche bags on my thread trying to talk shit is on my fucking thread, I'm not on yours nor getting my buddies on yours, get a life, without your constant pokes this would be different, lets see how this goes, unless this is about what the thread is titled then don't post, its my thread not yours, if this shit goes any further than this then it will be obvious the ones keeping it going.

I was talking to skeeter, why are joining in?
-
Was I talking to you little skeeter boy? You all jacked up on mountain dew trying to join the haters, its funny how you appologize when its just you but jump back in when you have some cosigners, just stay off my thread its as simple as that, I bet I have atleast 25 messages speaking of how many good members have either left or quit posting because of the asdholes you being the biggest and the real riders of this site thinking your a tool, I should start a personal mail skeeter hater club thread. Truth is your a joke and even your own little club is emailing newbies to smack talk you, that's the skinny skeeter, victim of your own demise.

Your right, I probably need to go up 2 sizes for the pipes. 340 does sound a little rich but I'm thinking +4 timing and tossing the airbox . Going to lean it out considerably, as it was sitting before air box mod and timing it was running 280/25 with needle in center, the main may be a smidget too rich but that's kinda why I thought about leaning it out a little by moving the needle position, what's your thought, if you have had a comparable modded motor what jetting did you like best and I can just subtract 1or 2 for elevation depending on where your at, I plan on spending a full day tuning, I'm a big believer that curviture is more importan than horsepower.
-
You can't stay away huh? Its ok, you might learn how to build a motor yourself. Over my head ? If a two stroke motor " air, fuel and fire" is something you feel could be too difficult for anyone I don't want your advise to begin with, I do know how to port, do I port my own bikes, nope I send it off along woth having the head milled. Different stroke cranks are obvious, bores and porting with head work is obvious, carburetion and jetting along with airflow obvious and ignition, its the way all two strokes run, what I wanted to know was some combinations that had been stumbled upon that worked great, like a stock crank .40 over bore with full porting and milled head, stock carbs with tweaked bowls 340 mains 25 pilots needle at 2nd notch, box lid off +4 timing and vf3's with a mod plate puting serious numbers down. That's what I wanted to hear about, but its handled now, thanks again to the guys who change their own plugs.
-
A question about jetting, I'm at 650 ft above sea level, I'm running toomey t6 pipes and silencers, +4 timing, stock carbs, milled head, no airbox with airpods and outerwears and vf3 reeds, would 340 main snd 25 pilot with needle in 3rd position and airscrew turned 1.5. Out be a good start? I will do a plug chop but really want to be as close as possible from the start?
-
Strm trooper you have been helpful, thanks. I'm actually at my buddies machine shop right now and we are cutting a few different size and shape reed stops for the stock cage like mentioned by a older member from this site and going to compare the two, I will for sure post the numbers and curviture between the two cages. Thanks
-
I may not have found that exact link, your right, I have had my bike 6 days now and my frame is off being powder coated and my motor is torn down to the crank, because of a lot of "good" people here I am pretty familiar with a banshee motor already, that's 6 days!!!! Not enough time to see every article you have ever read, thanks to you guys who have helped and thanks to the oldschool guys sending me the private messages to stay annonymous, some cool shit that nobody else has touched on.
-
damn, that's pretty significant. I wouldn't ever expect that much out of reeds
-
I have not read much good on vforce, I was looking into just boyeseen dual stage reeds. The rad valve works better on my 250 but my 125 runs better with a stock cage with carbofiber reeds and a wider reed stop. I need to read some more on them I guess. Which ones have you tested?
-
I'm going to clear this up, skeeter and sprinkle man just stay off my thread, your opinions mean nothing to me since you have other people build your bikes for you, don't judge people you don't know. Now back to my bike, I was told piper ported it but it is engraved lcs, they have everything baby butt smooth and polished real nice, I literally just wiped out the burnt fuel and oil with a paper towel and is shiny again but I assume its mx ported, they did a couple of my old race bikes but was unaware they touched banshee cylinders, just ordered tors eliminator and full jet kit so I can sync my carbs and get it dialed in once my airpods come in and my timing plate gets here
-
That's my initial thought, was just unaware of the benefits of different size domes , I'm a big believer in matching, I think I'm going to go with a cool head with 21cc domes, my cylinders are ported, bored 1mm over, advance timing, air pods, bore carbs to 28 and jet accordingly once all together, not a sand drag but hopefully it will run strong and show decent numbers. Thanks.
-
You wouldn't fit in my neighborhood, not many trailer parks in southlake.
-
I will deffinately try that, I will get a tach, normally I just throw a adjustable cdi box on and sit in front of the dyno with a box of jets till I reach good curviture, the tach is new to me, the timing plate is on the way and just ordered the k&n air pods with outerwears, in your oppinion do you think working the stock head is more beneficial than buying a cool head ?
-
I totaly acknowledged the second post and even asked further questions, the personal your broke attack set me off, I'm broke by no means, I have a wife and a lot of hobbies so chose my battles, I understand two strokes have come up, I have raced for 32 yrs now and ridden on some serious teams, I have changed top ends and retuned in the back of box trucks between motos, I'm new to the banshee not two strokes but do know that a lot of people on here no more about banshees than I do and would appreciate your trial and errors, I'm a rider just like both of you and have probably put in and given back more than "most" of you, thick skin is not something I'm lacking, I'm cool as a fan and appreciate true help but come at me being an ass I will give it back, and getting your buddies to sponsor your lipsmack is gay as a football bat.if you don't like my question just ignore it and let the people who have been there put there input in.
-
I'm not speaking about all the people, there are a couple people who are on here to be a part of a fun hobby, and some idiots that want to just speak out there ass and give 0 useful input, if you read this whole thread from the beginning and can't see who is trying to be helpful and who is being an ass I don't know what to tell you. And I have gotten a little useful info from a few, but sprinkleman can kiss my ass. You heard me sprinkles.
-
Is that all you got!!!!!!
-
Damn, therw are some true assholes on here, if your not going to say something useful then stay off my thread, go brag about your bike that someone else built for you, and to that piece of shit judging me and acting like I'm poor its a good thing your doing it behind your keyboard, sounds like someone got butt hurt and now has all his buddies cosigning for him, I'm an ace mechanic for mercedes and have built tons of two stroke bikes, I can figure out this motor too, its fucking two stroke!!!! Its not rocket science, no wonder all the good oldschool guys are gone and now its flooded with a bunch of losers talking about going fat chicking and cougar hunting instead of what the forum is for, pathetic, I guess I see why you have 40 yr old virgin as your avatar.
-
Port work was done by piper performance, domes are greek to me, I have a kx 250 and 125 plus a kfx 450 and all I have had to do is deck the heads and put them back on, I don't know the difference between a 18mm or 21mm dome except for the obvious 3mm difference and couldn't tell you if that's measured in height or width or what it does exactly. If its height I would assume the higher the mm the more compression and if its width I would think the higher mm would mean more flow. I dont want. To just hand it to a builder to do it all for me, I want to know what I'm doing and how things work to keep building it better
-
My setup is stock crank with 65mm cylinders that are ported and that's it, that's the reason for this thread to update what exactly is done to my bike after I tore it down, I can build it myself but was hoping to find some old school guys that really know how to match head work with timing and jetting. I am in the process of buying another motor to build this summer from crank up while still getting to ride my bike with decent power.
-
First I'm trying to get familiar with the site and doing so on my phone because my laptop stopped working, 2nd I'm trying to get advise about enhancing my motor instead of help figuring out what certain parts are speced at, 3rd if there was a delete post which o looked for first I would do so, and final you could just point out what I'm doing wrong instead of being a dick. Thanks to all trying to help and to all that wants to find something wrong go supervise the shout box
