Also one thing I did that my buddy never does was I used some lithium clear grease on the inside lips of the seals like the clymer book said to do. Was that bad?

I know how to do a leak down test but Brandon said plug the vent tubes. What vent tubes? There's only one on the stock clutch cover. If the right side seal is leaking air should come out of the vent. Put soapy water over the tube, if it bubbles that seal went out. I think that's what he ment.

It didn't pop out. And plug the vent tube from on the clutch cover and do a leak down then pour soapy water on it like I test for a leaking tire?

Just rebuilt my shee. Complete engine and tranny overhaul. I've rode about 6 300ft passes after a few heat cycles. New pwk 39mm carbs and new porting and rdz sb off pipes and 4mil crank. I was doin test and tune. On the last pass it started poring out smoke out of the right cylinder. Smells funny too. My guess is crank seal would I be correct to assume that? But I did get a good burn on the pass before the smoke, golden brown lol.
