  1. It may not be overheating. Try moving the coolant bottle to the front. If it is it could be a water pump. But, if your just loosing cooling but never hear it bubble try this http://kuoi.asui.uidaho.edu/~john/mods.html
  2. If you want a short shifter you can use a blaster shifter. My pegs are moved back and I just use a blaster shifter. Just info
  3. Maybe this guy will work with you http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...topic=26713&hl=
  4. Reeds may not help to much unless you have the airflow and exhaust to support more flow. I personally do not know about adding reeds to a stock motor. I kind of posted to bump this so we can see what answers come about. DG's are at least aftermarket pipes.
  5. He races tt. I think he noticed the pwk had a super slight advantage over the pj's but he said it could have been temp or jetting difference. All in all I think they'll be very similar.
  6. With 28mm carbs I was running 390's for mains with the stroker. Jason ran 380's I believe with stock carbs. Start the needle in the middle and adjust as necessary. 25 or 27.5 pilot should be fine.
  7. Start small and practice. That's about it.
  8. I have some 28mm mikunis flatslides.
  9. That's how they did the original 370 long rod.
  10. A couple years ago there was this Banshee that blew me away when I watched it. It's a ported monster. I watched it run a mud bog and win....it has pod filters. This thing screemed. I water skipped the mud pit...lol. Anyway I seen it up for sale. Looks a little rough but he's only asking $3500 for it. If I had the cash I'd consider it. I don't know the guy. I don know the frame ont he front has been raked forward a little to help make the suspension work better, it has won a lot of dirt drags, delta v-force, ported with tunnels welded in for more transfer volume, works shocks, bead lock rear tires, 34mm pj's and I'm sure a lot I didn't see. Just thought I'd post this since I thought it was a screaming deal for a screamin shee.
  11. According to www.carbparts.com the pwk 35-pwk39 bowl is the same.
  12. I'm just wondering if anyone has a bowl for a 35mm pwk. Not exactly a common part to have laying around but I'd like to replace one of mine. The person who had the carbs before me welded the bowl so it didn't rub the clutch arm. I don't have that problem with the boots I run and it would make it easier to jet if I had the correct bowl. So, if anyone had a 35mm pwk bowl they can spare or sell me... please, let me know. Or at least where I can get one. Thanks. fixitrod
  13. I've folded a couple stockers. I now have ricky stators and have not had a problem.
  14. Andy has a lot of jetting specs written down. Ask him. He'll get you close.
  15. I'm running a barnett dirt digger and it also holds up to the stroker.
  16. I would like to run over it and watch my kids....
  17. I think d34 has ran both. Do a search and you may find the response. It was about 2 month ago if I remember right.
  18. Its funny to watch someone that hasn't ridden one or that is used to riding 4 strokes. BZzzzz clunk. Isn't that the truth.
  19. If you bore one side and not the other you will have a different amount of weight on each side of the crank. Not good. You want that crank as balanced as possible. It's a very high reving engine. Both cylinders should stay the same.
  20. And I believe it is 2.5 to 3 inches of bore I remember right. I think I set mine between .012 and .015.
  21. If you stayed at a hotel, you'd have a connection.
  22. Okay, who's staying in a hotel and who's camping. Looks like my wife and kids will be coming too. I'll probably have to stay in a hotel since I can't pull the camper and quads. I'd rather camp but at least I'll get to ride. For those of you who are bringing the family, lets plan where were staying. Maybe we can crash the hotel with a party... lol.
  23. I don't know if it's bad but I catch myself doing it all the time. It's a bad habit I have.
  24. Banchetta, this has nothing to do with your dip. I was wondering if your running the reeds on high or low tension... the v-force. Just curious. Mine are on high.
  25. Yep, the h-trak use to be a stock honda tire.
