There's a screw that will let you move it closer or farther away it should be right behind it or above. take a empty spark plug box and use the flap part of it to size the gap.

Okk, well I'm looking to get a new head this time cooled and I want to get domes for it. I have a 4-mil stroker in my banshee, what is the best head and domes to get for it.? the pistons are wiseco high compression if that makes a difference.

I know I'm only 18 and just started on this site, but mine was making a noise like that, take your clutch basket cover off and check those gears in there. my idler gear has play in it and makes a knocking noise. Yours sounds like its the kick start gear that slides in and out when you kick it over. Try that first

What do you think i should set my new Adv. timing plate to soo I can get the fastest speed out of my banshee, I am slowly making everything aftermarket that isnt already. I have little things left.

How much does it cost to have my Cylinders ported and whats the difference between porting them and just having them re-honed because they are bored over 0.80 and were re-honed when the new pistons were put in.

Ok, Joey83, Right now on my banshee cuz it recently seized on me. It has a 4-mil stroker kit in it, re-honed cylinders, SST fatty pipes, SST exhausts, it is bored over I think 0.80 it has wiseco high compression/racing pistons in it and also a Boysen power reeds boost bottle on it. (which people are telling me it's a no no) and the reeds are V-force 3's or 4's. Also it has aftermarket duel carbs (what kind I'm not sure, they were on there when i bought it)

Mine has been doing this too but when I start mine it comes out the over flow. Some people were saying that the head gasket is bad so I plan on buying a new head and gasket. yours could be a little tear in the head gasket or a little tiny pin hole in the hose that goes from the top of the radiator to the head. take that off and check to see if it's going bad if it's not that it will most likely be your head gasket. But look at all your hoses closely. i replaced all mine and the rad cap. Good luck, let me know how it goes

Check the rings on the piston if it has low compression you should get new pistons if its a twin and that comes with seals and rings and the bearings that hold it to the crank. mine as well get new spark plus BR8ES run hot.

I don't even know what +5 is I have a stock timing plate but I've never messed with it..? Can some one explain it to me. I know alot about the motors but I've just never heard of this.

Do any of you guys have advanced timing plates ? what else could I do to make it faster or more HP ??

I want to add more mods to my banshee. some people told me to put an advanced timing plate on it. where do I put it and how much am I looking at ?? Does it go where the stock Clutch Plate is ?? Let me know

Ok, one other question. After the rebuild for some reason my antifreeze starts to over flow when I start it up and then eventually stops ( I think after its empty) Should I buy a new head and head gasket soo everything is new on it ? Also my Idler gear has play in it and makes a knocking noise when I start it. I need a new bearing for it right or why does it wobble and when I move it it's loose ..??
