  1. I rather build it myself instead of sending it out to a builder, its my toy so its not really to serious atm. Im not really interested in dyno #'s or trying to have the baddest 350 out. I just want to know what porter knows their 350s best. I don't mind leaving some power on the table with stock carbs, inframes and just av gas. lol why is it half ass? My friend had a similar setup that ran 4 years without a rebuild. He bored it over, stock crank unwelded ported cylinders by a local guy named Lachy (or how ever you spell it) and the bike went through like 3 frames and setups consistently went 98-105 between the laydown and stand up setups and the 98 mph trap in 1/4 was with a 230lb rider. It had an over ride though 1-4. If i tear it down a crank, over ride etc is going in it. BTW got plenty of friends with fast bikes with stock trans's. We don't really do any "trail riding" or probably what most consider trail riding anyways. We just ride long distances and are far from the truck/gas station. Being that off the top of my dome there are only 2 places that sell av gas that i know of. I would have to buy a shit load of av gas get a 6 pack rack and bring a 1/2 gallon tank with me. Put it this way, running would be less of a hassle than av gas atm. Thanks again guys.
  2. No reason at all just not trying to split the cases atm. Don't want too much down time, i want to ride this thing! But if i have to i don't mind getting into a stroker. Got a buddy of mine with a stock cyl 4 mil thats pretty sick, ported by a local guy. He's got stock carbs on av gas. I want to keep my stock carbs due to gas mileage. We ride pretty far and there isn't many gas stations with AV gas around. Thanks everyone though, im going to give redline, RDZ, and wildcard a call later on today or tommorow.
  3. Which porter knows how to build a nasty 350? All the sponsors on here seem like great choices but who knows best on how to get a 350 to make power?
  4. Id expect the plumbing and mounting of the turbo to actually be easy, the difficult part is ALWAYS having to tune depending on weather. Turbo stuff is really A/F dependent.
  5. Blow thru carb setup must be a fucking bitch to get running right. If i were to go the turbo route id go Fuel injection or do it to a four stroke.
  6. 4 mil cub or stock cyl?

  7. As title pretty much says, bought some CPI's from stroker4501 guy was REALLY helpful and shipped out my parts SAME DAY and kept me posted through out the whole process, he went above and beyond. PIpes look great mario, can't wait to put them on!
  8. lol at some random show, grabbed the mic cause im alpha.
  9. lmao but bro racing dynos>racing.
  10. Some sick ass bikes in here!
  11. No disrespect, just stating my opinion. Not my cup of tea. Ill respect OP's thread and just refrain from posting in here.
  12. No offense but comparing different dyno numbers from different dynos, locations, DA and possibly different correction factor is pretty moot. I think a trap speed or some sort of track results should be a good way to compare. Racing dynos is pointless. Id LOVE to have a setup that puts out shit power SAE corrected but fucks shit up on the track or street where it matters.
  13. Did some street riding with some friends and could not keep up with them do to running out of gear. They told me to get a 16 tooth front sprocket, so i ordered it. Did some searching and a bunch of guys say its too much for a bolt on bike. Is this true? My bike is stock other than T6 pipes (changing to CPI pipes soon), no air box, proflow adapter with K&N, got an adjustable timing plate going on very soon aswell. Going with stock size rear tires.
  14. No.
  15. Thats cool, i hate you too. I guess i apologize for stating my opinion on a public forum. Didn't realize how sensitive people were on here, especially to things that aren't even theirs. A for Effort and originality but only thing i got from it was a laugh, not really something id do to a banshee. Again, i apologize for hemorrhaging some of you guys vaginas.
  16. Plan on ordering tech 4 tires, since apparently they hook real nice on the street, and just ordered a 16 tooth sprocket because my stock gearing does not suffice for the type of riding we do. Bike ATM has no airbox lid, K&N with proflow adapter, and T6 pipes (soon to change to CPI SB inframes). Should i just get the same tire size as stock? Thanks in advance guys.
  17. Same here. It was a statement not a question.
  18. lol umad phaggot
  19. poor banshee. This is as bad as the raptor plastics on a banshee.
  20. Still looking for inframes for a buddy with cash in hand!
  21. As title states looking for CPI pipes. Must be small bore, inframes. Cash in hand. Let me know what you have.
