  1. Awesome guy to buy parts from!
  2. Just send him your motor and all will be well.
  3. I know the issuies what you said is not false but a brand new truck should not have these issuies from the factory.
  4. I'm sorry I should have known better
  5. Good idea.
  6. Yup it is a must
  7. Once again...why would I deal with him after several of these same threads? The only thing you do on here is call people out on their bullshit, which is a good thing. You call them as you see them I am doing the same. Everyone here that spends the money on a motor build deserves what they pay for. They are not getting it.
  8. That's all you got? I hear enough.
  9. Not to mention the fact that the other builders make it right instead of having you chase your tail for months on end. If he would spend the money he gives out on discounts to people who praise him towards fixing his issuies, maybe this wouldn't happen.
  10. After being here for a few years and seeing this happen over and over, why in the actual fuck would I ever spend money on having him build me an engine? sounds like a bad investment to me...why do I never hear anything bad about redline, fast, k&t, or anyone else for that matter? The fact I happen to be a machinist is irrelevant. Everybody starts spinning shit out of proportion until we are no longer talking about the main issuie at hand, which is the fact that there is a common issuie here weather you like it or not.
  11. My buddy just bought one with 40k miles on it...needs a bed.
  12. Will be rotted out in 4 years
  13. More than likely.
  14. I called that shit in post 7 in this thread!
  15. In PA it's rare to see anything other than a wood or plow truck with over 200k.
  16. ^^^^ those dodge bodies rot out faster up here in the north than any other truck. Period. By faster I mean in half the time.
  17. No I didn't...but I called them and bitched I also called the bbb to no avail. There's a lot more that happened in there too but I feel like I typed enough for you to get the picture lol. Never had a single issuie with my duramax!
  18. Shaggin wagon
  19. I think he's referring to the stator cover with a bearing in it that supports the rear trans shaft. I could be wrong though.
  20. Yes I did, what happened was...I went to a dealership and looked at this truck, it was a 2005 6.0 with 55,000 miles on it. I test drove it and all seemed well. Within the next 6 days I noticed atifreeze under the hood coming from the bottle, imidiatly I knew the head studs were stretched and the gasket was shot so I then took it to the dealership under warranty. It had a warranty from the dealership but it also had an aftermarket warranty through gardian. On my 50 mile trip to the dealership it started blowing white smoke (egr and oil cooler). They fixed those problems and told me I was filling the antifreeze too much (I wasnt). So within the next 2 days it was still spewing coolant so I took it to a dealership by me (I could take it wherever with the gardian warranty and I knew the head mechanic where I took it). So they pull the cab and realized the whole motor was fucked because it was driven for too long without being fixed. The brakes also went out on me on the way to the 2nd dealership. So they tore the cab off and went to work...when they estimated 17k for a new updated motor and labor the dealership where I bought it and the aftermarket warranty company pointed fingers at each other to fix it. Meanwhile I was paying 387 a month for a truck I couldn't drive so I quit paying for it and got another one. Bunch of bullshit happened in the 2 years but the end result was I got my money invested back they took the truck back and removed the defaulted loan from my credit and also paid my lawyers fees. Never again will I play that game.
  21. I had one for a week that had 55k miles on it...it blew up and needed a whole new engine. I was in litigation for it for a little over 2 years. Last ford I will ever own.
  22. We have a very small market and very few customers who happen to order enough product to keep us in business, not only that but we have expanded a lot since ive started. We have bought a new machine every year for the last 6 years. we have 5 customers so we keep them happy.
