  1. but as long as the regulator and b/w wire is un grounded it should be set? god i love this site thank you guys very much not for just this thread but for al my questions!
  2. IK, IK this dreaded diagram yet again. but heres what i did, i removed the old wire harness and built my own. idont need my high beam/low, on/off, ignition, throttle switch, tors, brake light, or carb switches. so pretty much what im left with is the wires from the cdi to the stator, from the cdi to the coil, and the from the stator to my aftermarket headlight (on all the time no on/off) but from what ive read its necessary to have the tor box grounded or it will kill spark? my quad is a 96 so this diagram is correct. but what i ended up doing is grounding the B/W from the cdi along with grounding the R/B from the cdi to the solid black wire from the cdi. right the solid black is a ground wire correct? any help would be greatly appreciated
  3. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=168984 looking for this piece... i give a link cause imnot even sure what its called. it just the piece that holds the throttle cable to the slide
  4. exactly what i thought!!! anybody have anything for sale? what would i search for?
  5. i apologize if this should be in the jetting threads. but im having an issue with my carbs i cant figure out how the throttle cable ties into the slide. perhaps im just dumb or im missing something but im drawing a blank all my other carbs that i previously worked on had a washer with slide like mech that would hold the throttle. i hope i have everything here, maybe not. any help would be appreciated
  6. so i started a new shift at work so i ended up bringing my banshee thus far home. here are a few pics i took as i brought it home. Im currently working on the wire harness to take out the high/low beam, the key and the on and off switch along with the carb switches and tors. im also lost as to how the carbs link to the throttle cable. i have stock round slides, looks like the throttle goes through to the slide and the gold clip holds it in? idk im kinda lost any help?
  7. does anybody have a schematic as to how to build or alter the wire harness? i just need the stator, cdi, ignition coil, and the front head lights ( high beam which is yellow) im just curious how to cancel out all the rest of this stuff.
  8. heres a recent picture update. seems i only have assembly left.
  9. just looking to save a buck and seing if anyone has an old stator cover they dont desire or need
  10. Not to be rude, but I really don't have fenders anyways lol
  11. had the guy at work make me a custom cover. had it electro polished while i was at it. but heres a progress pic: i also have a custom grille im going to have water jetted at work out of 12 ga 316L stainless. im waiting for the gold rims to be in the mail and just a few other pieces. does anybody make a half way decent graphic kit? cant find much i like... this is one of the very few i like...
  12. Looking for front gold rims. I have tires just need the rims
  13. Thank you, thank you, thank ya
  14. i Know this must sound stupid. but i need help! i bought my shee as a basket case and now i have no clue where the wire harness, CDI, coil, or regulator go. also im lost as to how the fluid container is locked down... a bracket of sorts i dont know. ive done a lil looking but all i can find is relocating brackets to the front end which is no help to me. just curious if someone has or could take a pic to help me out?
  15. slowly but surely. i just put a thread on the wanted section for parts and already have a gentleman on there with all the parts i need. i love forums, and this site its beautiful. as you might be able to make out, the front arms have a lowering kit that i installed. last night i got my hubs, bearings, seals, brakes, and calipers all set. i ended up changing the plastics and painted the steering neck black. im just amazed as to how much stuff there is for these quads and what you can do to them. However i was curious if someone could give me a hand as to finding pics to locate where the wiring harness is put, as far as where the cdi is located and a few other pieces within the wiring harness? ive looked at pics but nothing really helps, maybe im just lazy.... no wait i am lazy, none the less and help would be greatly appreciated.
  16. bought my project as a basket case. obviously now i realize i need a few parts. i need: the water pump drive gear sprocket nut and washer stator nut stator keyway and complete stock carbs i have the carb bodies just not the internals or guts of them. I also could use all 4 chrome rims but ik the shipping would kill my deal. any help with these items would be greatly appreciated.
