I checked the oil in the case it's not milky. I have a brand new compression tester. Would pressure testing the coolant system be a better to check

I ran it today and and both the cylinder head and radiator both were warm to the touch idling. Couldnt get the radiator cap today

Is there a way to check the water pump gear or impeller?

Is there another place to order a radiator cap besides the dealership? They want $36 for an oem. Neighbor has a banshee going to grab his cap and try that first

Hello new to the website. I just purchased a 2000 and it's bone stock. When I first got it the previous owner had done a top end and just about all the hose clamps were loose! I checked all the clamps and tightened them. Tonight took it for a ride and was getting on it pretty good when I got home and shut it off it started puking coolant out and sounded like it was sucking air. I did a search couldn't find anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
