Took the banshee out for a spin and I noticed a lot of chain noise I checked it out when I got home is the bottom roller supposed to have rubber or poly on it. That was where the noise was coming from. Everyone seems like they just sell the upper roller

Got home sprayed carb cleaner all around the reed block gaskets found nothing. I took it for a ride and it was idling fine when I got home

Would carb cleaner work? Like when your looking for a vacuum leak on a car.

there's a thread on here how to make a leak down tester. You think my pilots or jetting would be close for 650' elevation

Yesterday I installed v force v4 reeds. I cut the tabs off the intake boots made sure everything was flush bolted it up. Started it idle seemed normal took it for a quick spin came back and it had a high idle. It might be the jetting I have a 27.5 pilots stock needle in third clip and a 300 main. My question is there a way to check and see if the Reed gasket are leaking?

I've bought a few things from fast. I'm pretty much just going to have a bolt on banshee. Jeff from fast is awesome to deal with. I've already bought a adj. timing plate,v4 reeds, pro flow air filter and now the cool head

Funny this came up, I was just at the badlands last Sunday and my brother has a crf450 and he walked me pretty good from a roll. From a dead stop I hung with him till 3rd. I just talked to Jeff at FAST and I'll have a surprise in store for him soon.

Thank you for all your replies. I'm more familiar with supercharged mustangs than the banshee's. I know more compression equals running race gas but low compression supercharged /turbo motors can also require it because of igmition timing.The E85 comment was a smartass comment on the nitro methane comment

I've searched on here couldn't get a deffinate answer. If I get an adjustable timing plate do I have to run race gas? I live at 650' elevation mods currently are t-5's and a cut air box lid.

Could it be my pilot is too big. Had kind of a high idle with the stock 25 in.

I've just put on a set of t5's and silencers. Runs awesome. I have a 27.5 pilot in 300main and stock needle on the 4th clip down from the top. It's runs good,but if you just tip in the the throttle it'll die out. I have the air box lid on but a 4x6 hole cut in the top and snorkel removed. 650' elevation. Also pilot screw out 2.5 turns.
