I want to build a 4mill cub for trails!! I've got the t5 pioes in the way so I'm set there! Or I could go to cpi inframes
-
Both I guess. I'm having a shop make sure my trans and bottem end are sound. So far I was told I only needed the neutral o ring and output seal. I ordered a new water pumo gasket AND seal. Can the water pump be changed while the two halves are together? My sides (clutch cover and other side) are not installed.

When I say water pump seal, I am talking the one on the outside. I have a clutch cover gasket and all the o-rings for the water tube. My shift shaft seal looks good and I am borrowing a friend's leak down tester. Flywheel Puller: I own an auto shop so I just used one for a harmonic balancer...............

Here are the new parts I ordered for my build, cannot wait for them to get here next week!!!! All parts were ordered from F.A.S.T., great guys! 1) Toomey T-5 Pipes (small blem by head on inside, size of a dime-ish, and 10/1000 deep) 2) Polished Billet Clamps 3) Cascade Chrome Hangers 4) TORS Removal (previous owner just raised the slides to get it to idle, not cool) 5) Jets (27.5 pilot and 320 main) 6) 2-Ambush 21x7x10 fronts and 2-Ambush 20x11x9 rears 7) Pro Design water pump impeller 8) Water pump seal 9) Plastic Water pump gear (weak spot if I NEED something to break) 10) Stock Carb rebuild kits 11) Ratio-Rite cup 12) Cross-Over tube 13) Throttle cable (mine has a twist throttle, need to get rid of it. Hit me up if you've got a thumb to get rid of ) 14) Neutral Switch O-ring 15) Tranny output seal Bike will be getting ported by him this winter, do not want to wait to ride it anymore!!!!! Thanks for reading, Brad. (P.S.- Leave me any recommendations you think I should do next)

I just got done ordering a boat load of parts to get my shee up and running. Best guy to deal with, knew his stuff and was VERY VERY pleasant on the phone (Jeff and Jamie both). So Kudos to you guys/gals, you made me feel like a person and not just a dollar sign walking through the door. Thanks, Brad.

It is a big deal but so is an extra $400 on top of pro circuit pipes. A builder also (in my defense) knows MUCH more than I do. Also, I do not know if it makes a big deal, the PTR graph is corrected for SAE, the pro circuit graph has a CF of standard. -

Looking at it again your hp seems very low, I was told by every builder I talked to that if I was not seeing 58hp+ on ANY pipe with a port job something was wrong. -

Is your 4 mill ported? I like where those come on and how they build, they only seem to peak around 9k, but I can agree that the PTR Mids come on strong and stay there until 9k then drop like a rock. -

I like the curve but they just don't hold up top. I ride backroads on my way to my favorite riding place and these wouldn't do. I talked to both F.A.S.T. and HERR Jug Racing, both recommended a "MX Hardcore" style port to broaden and increase the power WITH the Pro Circuit pipes. They both said the PTR Mids are good but would fall off way too soon for top end (as seen in the dyno chart). They both said I should be making 60-70hp ported with those pipes, +4 timing, and a cool head/domes for my elevation. I WANT TO STAY ON 91 Octane, reason is that is all that is the lowes grade premium readily available at the gas stations in my town (holiday) and our Citgo (92). Citgo is more than likely where I will go since they have no ethanol. Thanks, Brad. -

Good to hear. I probably will go with an agressive trail or hardcore mx style port job. -

How is their low/mid compared to a t5? I imagine pretty close as the chambers look almost identical. I'm hoping to be around the 60-75hp range ported and domed for max on 91 pump gas. -

Reason I'm asking is because most of them are for complete stock motors or aftermarket cylinders -

Don't like the curve of the fatties and want more power. But I did think about em. I don't want used. -

Sweet. I'm looking at a good port jop and head this coming summer -
I have been reading endlessly about which pipes are the best for trails. So now I am going to post up asking for opinions. Here is how I ride: Back roads, old railroad grade, some pits, and some tighter technical stuff. I ride with an 75-85hp build raptor 700, warrior 350, and another banshee that is stock except t5's. Any recommendations? I have been thinking either the T-5 or DMC 916 as the head-pipes are almost identical. I also thought about PTR Mids but I cannot justify myself spending $950 for a full set in chrome. I do want new pipes and am looking in the $550-$700 area. Thanks, Brad.

Is it possible to use PSI Inframe w/PowerCore 2?
Spanks906 posted a topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
Is this possible? I have a good set of PSI inframe head pipes, and a good set of power core 2 silencers. Is it possible to use the two together? Thanks, Brad. (P.S.- I would try it but I do not have a motor in my bike) -
Yeah. I'd like to get rid of em for new ones Thanks, Brad.

I ended up putting out a reward if leading to an arrest, no arrest yet but got the bike. Here is my new bike: http://s1340.photobucket.com/user/BradSankey/library/1997%20Shee Thanks for all the help, Brad.

Some people I tell ya! I ended up buying another about a week ago because the cops had it for 6 months and wouldn't release it. I got it back yesterday lol. My new bike is a 97' with a powder coated frame (black) and blue a arms/swinger. Silver/blue plastics. New crank/pistons/hone/chain. $1200 I thought was a great deal. I will get some pics up but beware, my shop is messy as my fathers project truck is in the same stall.
