see what i dont understand is that it uses the same amount of fuel wot in 1-4 as it does in 5th and 6th right? it doesnt sense what gear it just knows throttle position ill have a chance to take a look at it tomorrow and im gonna try and build a leak down tester or see if the shop by me has one. might have the guy that owns the shop take it for a spin and see what he thinks -

need some help guys..just a few things about my banshee t5 pipes fresh top end uni air filter with lid vents 280 mains and stock pilots...it doesnt have the pull it should in lower gears i tried to rip it up.a hill in 1st and 2nd and it just bogged out but when im on a straight away it opens up and hits powerband through 4th sometimes 5th and 6th it falls on its face..just replaced ignition coil...im in jerseyville illinois and it was 75 degrees yesterday when i rode it...could it be a clutch issue? or main jet?

with the 290s 5th and 6th are flat but with 280s fifth gear comes along 6th still flat...im starting to think i have a coil issue i redid the caps awhile ago before i got it running and the right cylinder keeps backfiring so i switched the boots and same problem -

carbs are clean but the gap is a good starting point what is the correct gap size? and i was told that moving needle clip position might help but im not sure which way to go ive never had to adjust it on my old banshee -
im having trouble hitting the powerband in 5th but mostly 6th gear..i think ive got the mains dialed in 270s to lean 290s rich 280 is what i have in it now and the plugs are golden brown but when i shift into 5th it bogs a little and gradually hits powerband and 6th it falls on its face i cant remember what i have the needle set at but could moving the needle up or down fix this problem? it is just broken in with t5s and uni air filter with airvents installed
