  1. im building a 4 mill and was wondering where i should send my cylinders for porting, is that Grand River Racing spot a good spot? Looking for a aggressive trail/dune port or something like that
  2. yeah but i thought that they made pistions for the 4 mill to make up for that? im not gonna try and be complicated if i need to get it reported thats what im going to do. and where would you guys recommend to buy a cool head and domes from ? and what size domes for pump gas?
  3. no the porting was just for the stock crank motor then. do you think i should send them away to get re-ported?
  4. yeah i forgot to mention the cylenders i have now already has a trail port, and i was gonna go with the 4 mill pistons and the domes instead of the spacer plate. good idea or no?
  5. my hotrods 4 mill 115 long rod crank just came in so im currently in the prosses of putting that in, just waiting on some seals and stuff, but i have a friend thats talking alot of shit and thinks his stock piped and jetted crf450r is the most powerful bike there ever was. and everybody in town is sick of it. so i need to be able to walk all over him on pump gas. im gonna get some v force 4s, adjustable timing plate and a cool head, and i already have T5s. how do you guys think i will do with this set up? let me know if theres anything else i should do or change

  7. clutch is slipping pretty bad right there now so i ordered a new one but i was just wondering what kind of fluid you guys would recommend to run? thanks.
  8. i cant get any pressure in my rear breaks no matter how much i bleed them, does this mean my brake cylinder is gone? should i just buy a new one or i saw a rebuild kit before for them?
  9. so my banshee blew up, shattered the skirt off the right piston.so while i have it apart im going to build up a 4 mill. was just wondering if theres anything important i should know besides getting a spacer plate or domes and having my cylinders ported for it. and i was wondering where the best place to order my crank from would be? thanks
  10. okay because it was running fine when i parked it then i started it up the next morning and thats what happened. i will try that and see what happens
  11. ok so my banshee is workin like crap, its having trouble getting up to rpm but when it does everything sounds good and snappy. but im smoking out of my right pipe and my right stinger only gets a little warm (i can grab it and hold it with my hand) where my left is nice aand hot. never did a compression test on it yet but im assuming thats the problem. im just wondering what the deal on the crank seal is i see people talking about. hope thats not my problem. fresh plugs and lots of fire stock banshee but toomey t5s, stock pilot, 280 main, air fuel screw 1.5 turns out, no air box cover, uni filter
  12. going to order tors eliminator kit and parking brake block off plate right away
  13. yeah i know all about the tors but wasnt sure about the parking brake. i did pull a wheelie once and struck my grab bar pretty good but it was working fine afterwords unless you think the tors would start acting up on the next startup witch happened to be the next morning
  14. did re jetting it make any difference in the humidity?

  17. checked all over the pipes looking to see if the harness would be touching the pipes and never noticed where any wires were too close to the pipes. where would this most commonly happen, up on the stingers? or some where on the mid pipe? im almost certain that this is the problem because of the way it was missing
  18. damn never thought of that, il have to check that because i forgot to mention at idol it was acting up almost like i was hitting the kill switch on and off is how the miss was
  19. no filter is dry and plugs looked golden color
  20. installed a set of brand new toomey t5s a few days ago and had it jetted nice and everything and it was working awesome and pullin hard, but today it was workin like crap from the second i had started it. it has trouble opening up unless i clutch it and in 5th and sixth gear i cant get it to open up at all. today was raining and pretty damp if that might make a difference. tried new plugs even though it was running on two cylinders. stock except for t5s, uni filter and no air box lid. never checked compression yet but was working 100% when i parked it.
