Ya and I tested that junk gauge against two buddy's that had the same one and there all junk we all bought them from oreilys auto parts house

I put 19cc domes in it they were out of 20's And got a .020 base gasket Got my squish to 55 Compression is 147 Runs great I haven't rode it threw the breaking riding I do just heat cycles so far but sounds healthy for a trinity cylinder lol

Ya I'm going to get 20's Tomorrow So is the 65ish squish gona effect anything iv never had that much squish most bikes we have build have 40-50 so 65-70 what's that going to effect sort term and long term

Ya I'm so glad it was the gauge it had me stumped So I put 20cc's to it and it put out 140psi I'm going tomorrow to a local shop in the morning to buy domes either 19cc or 20cc haven't decided I think 140 is pretty good but would 145-150 be better I know 175psi is the threshold for pump gas And pump gas here is only 91oct

Yip gauge is shot I put a brand new snap-on gauge in side by side with mine and ya shot mine said 80lbs and snap on said 125 and that's with 22 domes so I'm thinking 20's will be on target and swap the base gaskets out with 20 thou's and hope that will drop my squish

Everything is new i got a buddy comming with a snap-on compression gauge we will se what it say against my gauge I hope my gauge is shot

All new parts I think the base gasket is to thick I should have ran the 20thou like I all ways do but this was a kit so I just used what came with it I in the process of doing the heat cycles In the shop then ill do another compression check after the rings are a little more seated?

But don't understand why dome lowering is not changing compression psi maby the rings are not seated yet? You think?

I'm stumped changing dome size is not changing compression on new motor what's the deal

So what the hell go buy 18-19 you think I'm about to put theses 17 in it that came with the motor

So I put 20 domes in it and got 65 squish and 110 compression

Ok average was 58-60 so ? Tear down and check thinness I guess never checked I'm running the kit off eBay that came with hit rod crank and wiseco 65.50mm pistons and gaskets wtf!! Needs to be done by Tommorow

I'm thinking it might be thicker but don't know Well I checked squish with a pice of sod I have here that's .062 and piston don't even hit it so now I'm going to the auto parts house and gona get a little thicker sod so I guess I might be looking at new base gaskets after I measure what I got now?

The gasket kit was a K&S? Maby there to thick ill know as soon as I get the squish check

I'm going back to get the 22 domes and put back in a check it I had passion bore the cylinders and there good also the ring end gap was spot on at 10thou so now I'm heading to a buddy's house to pick the 22's again and check squish easy pezy

I dident check seeing its all stock stroke and cylinders now if it was a high compression reading I could adjust it to less with base gasket but i dont think there's a way to adjust to make less squish is there

Need ideals here I put 22cc domes in to test compression to se where I'm at and it made 100psi wtf right so now I'm thinking I need to go buy some 20's maby 19's??
