I saw and trust me it took a lot not to retaliate, the customer that got his "hacked up" cylinder back was impressed and very happy, I am expecting the same from the second cylinder when it reaches its destination - in the spirit of such "competition" - I can only imagine when I find a better template than "race logic" I can be as big as him too one day Then I can turn out cookie cutters day in and day out, possibly print my "best work" on a magnetic template as well and sell them to the public with no need to work the transfers or any information on how to handle them because they are just "not that important" and wont "make a noticeable difference" Its all good lol I did get two cylinders to two folks and I put honest work into them to showcase what I can do. I will await their responses. I think they should be pleased.

This may very well be true but there's not much I'll be able to do about it. I am not going to cry and beg because of whats gone on, I didn't have any part in numerous scenarios I was accused of possibly doing and in the end I had a few members stick up for me and the items are on their way so we will see how that pans out. There's still hope in 2 cylinders I have done for members, one on its way back the other already back to its owner. Hopefully the work I have done will outshine all of this BS. I understand the frustration and time lapse between - there were some threads on there I hadnt stopped by in a while - I dont get notifications when someone replies to them - and overall the guy sent me a message on a Thursday with his concerns - I did not answer until Monday and so between thursday and monday I was well on my way to being crucified lol. Its ok I am not bitter at that individual. He was just trying to get an answer - everyone climbing on the bandwagon for "another rip off" or "another shady builder" and whatnot that's what didnt set well. Our website posts we don't work saturday or sunday unless by appointment only. So as far as I was concerned he hadnt heard from me in 3 business days - not the best of situations but not as bad as I would think things were made out to be. I may be alot of things, but I am not a thief by far. This forum is always brutally honest, makes me laugh and I love it for such. Anyhow, I am just not the type to pick a fight or trash talk another builder - if I think I can do it better I simply let my work speak for itself. Im up for the competition, just not in my nature to engage in "builder wars". Once things settle in a bit and I am not quite so busy I wanted to offer the same "free port work" to a set of banshee cylinders either looking for a trail or dune/play port. As time passes by there is no guarantee when I will be able to do such a thing but nonetheless I would love to do so. Just to put some of my work out there and get some honest feedback from it. I am confident in what I do - Can I compete with the dyno numbers from other large reputable builders? Probably not currently, but I would still like to get my foot in the door and showcase what I can do. Anyhow lol sorry for the essay. Thanks for the support guys. It is much appreciated.

I am not singling one individual out by any means - I had a customer pick his shee up, drive it into the back of his truck and slam his back window and wanted me to pay for it because his front brakes "didnt work" - it was brought in for rear axle bearings and a general tune up. I rode the bike...the brakes worked then, they worked in the parking lot with him on it, and the brakes worked when I hopped in his truck bed with shattered rear glass. His response was "well they must have stuck for a second when I rode it up there". Anyhow, another instance was an 07 LTR-450 brought in with the complaint that it "would not start or run". Well after getting a ton of crappy fuel out of the tank and correctly grounding his power commander it started but had a little noise up top I did not care for. After investigation and replacing a VERY slacked timing chain, readjusting cold valve lash, then a general service - oil change, spark plug, etc - the unit fired up and ran without a hitch, no more chain slap. I noted the fuel filter/separator had a small leak - I notified the customer it was leaking and how much it would cost to fix - he declined saying he could repair it himself. So I made the note on his service invoice of the leak and showed him the day he picked the unit up what was and where the leak was located. All was well for about two weeks until he called me back throwing a fit about the fuel leak and how it seemed to be getting worse...I told him whenever he was ready to fix it, I would be ready to do it for the same price I had quoted him from his previous repairs - he said ok and up to this day has never brought the unit in to be repaired. Anyhow, the instance on BF is totally different - I am just saying in general, I wish more customers could give some respect back my way. In any business there are folks who just cannot be made happy - I wish that was a little different. Most everyone here and BF have respect so I have no major quarrels.
-
They deserve the same opportunities we al do. Most blaster guys dont build full out performance bikes but. I still try to give every customer the same respect - wish more of them would give it back lol
-
Lol had no idea you guys followed up. Ive been searching through work orders - to be posetive I had no banshee cylinders - and sorting this out on bf. Had no idea you all had figured part of it all out lol

Figured it out - a member on blaster forum had sent in a cylinder and head for a free port job he had won. Anyhow I had done the work and had issues with my local machine shop closing and no one to rechamber his head - so the cylinder sat for a bit more than a week before i came to a decision and packaged everything up to go out. Good old usps picks the packages up feb. 23rd - I sent him a message confirming they were ging out that day with tracking info from such. Thursday the 26th he pm'd me on blaster forum and I had not logged on until today - my fault completely. The packages had not moved since the day they were picked up! Something was up with the phone line today and of all days he tried to reach me today and could not - frustrating I understand. So having not heard from me since Thursday he was trying to get a hold of me. Frankly instead of all this I wish he had tried an email if nothing else. Nonetheless, the numbers started working today, all is in motion and seems well and I hope this one can be put to bed.

The phone was having issues today - I have no idea what was up but it is solved. As far as banshee cylinders I dont have any in the shop currently being worked on. I have 2 complete motors in for rebuilds but other than that im confident I dont have your cylinders my friend. I had a few blaster cylinders that went out early last week

Thanks, would really like to have the cover though. More interested in the cover than the actual lockout lol

Just seeing whats out there. Direct drive setup - cover and lockout would be preferred but slingshot is an option. Shoot me a pm with a price shipped

Who does triple exhaust on stock cyl?
Young Guns Racing replied to fbt551's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Its VERY difficult in a regular stock cylinder - one that has been sleeved and has enough room to go 68mm is the only practical way I've seen it done. Myself I have experimented with trips on stock cylinders, not alot of meat there without a bigger sleeve. I wont offer it because of this reason. Triple exhaust ports only shine most in full drag applications and there are tons of builders making WICKED power out of stock cylinders without them. -
Customer wants to do a 10mm build, looking for a good used crank at a reasonable price. Let me know what you have,

No one? lol
