  2. I wonder if you can test the spark plug wires if they are working 100% and also if my choke is working because mine does not stay in place, i have to hold it out aswell as being a bitch to start.
  3. I only checked one to be honest. I will change to 0 when i get home and make sure the key is in place. Thats the reason i bought it for better low and midrange power. I just bought the tool to check the resistance and i didnt drop the flywheel or nothing i used the right tool to pull it. I dont have tors nor parking brake.
  4. What else was done? Nothing just changed the timming plate. Can you check the resistance on the stator? i dont have the tool but i can buy one. OEM stator or aftermarket? Came with the bike when i got it is like a white color rubber/plastic around it. By air gap you mean the space from the flywheel to the pick up thing on the side with the magnet.
  5. The pick up gap is 20 i used a filler gauge or whatever is called. I put all the wires the axact same way they were before, i used the tusk flywheel puller same desing as jeff at fast, key she was in there flat like it should.
  6. Installed new Mattoon timming plate at +4 now it just idles if you rev it it bogs and dies, also right side smoking alot more then the left, bike has fresh top end that was running great last sunday.

  9. The previos owner of mine broke it and bought a long ass bolt that goes from one side to the other side of the frame and i have the pegs there, just had to make the hole a lilttle bigger on the pegs.(the bolt closest to the rear tire, not the first bolt).

  17. To be honest my home made tester was leaking itself so i didnt pay attention and didnt do it( I know i paid for it) Maybe not sure, going to make a better one tomorrow when i put it together. I will check that out tonight when i get home, but it looked fine. Thanks

To be honest i think thats what it was i could move the piston a little when they were in the jugs, didnt exactly measure it i took them out and threw the broken one in the table, but the way the crank broke the connecting rods is the exact same way it had when i bought the motor blown but both happen on the opposite side. Good to know, i need to see all the options and start counting which ones might have caused it. Thanks
  19. i bought the motor blown i got a crank for it and hone to the virgen jugs and put new wsm 64.00mm pistons with new rings and it blew up last sunday now the jugs are now 64.5 with wiseco pro lights have to pick them up today from the shop and i get the crank tomorrow. I ran her couple times with no issues but sunday i was on her for 2 hrs of hard riding when this happened.

  21. Both of them were smoking and everything felt normal when i put my had on the exhaust. How about the color on the brow piston?? normal??. The other piston had alot of shaving and stuff on it thats the one that broke the skirt. By roasty toasty you mean maybe old and kinda siezed and messed up due to what? lubrication? poor maintnance from the previous owner?
  22. She blew up last sunday, was going slow and it locked up, wont kick over nothing took it apart and saw it broke a skirt and also broke the big end of the connecting rod. Spark plugs where a dark brown/black color. Sometimes out of nowhere she would backfire, here are my mods: Was stock bore k&n open lid filter fresh hone fmf pipes 27.5 pilot 280 main Needle clip in the middle Air screws 1.5 turns out
  23. allways said you get what you pay for, now if money is an issue save and get you a better quality sponsor item, they wont put their name on the line for 1 swing arm, i only use ebay for batteries or somenthing simple not somenthing that can break and kill you, just my 2 cents.
