  1. Glad to see alot of our customers here. Thanks again for all your support guys!
  2. Hi 4mil89, I'm sorry I'm not at the shop right now and don't have the resistance specs on hand. I will post them when I get into the shop tomorrow morning. Please feel free to give me a call so I can help troubleshoot the issue. If there is an issue with the stator this will be my first out about 100 sold. I'll of course be happy to cover it under warranty if there does happen to be an issue. Thanks, Evan 760-476-3514 shop/office
  3. Hi guys sorry I haven't been on here recently. I've been so busy I keep forgetting to stop in on BHQ. I'm glad you're stoked on the drag stator! I don't have them listed on my website yet, but I have plenty of them. I'm going to retail them for $149 because of the increased labor and time on these. Anybody in So Cal, come on by the shop. Just give me a call. I'll probably also respond quicker to email as I check it every day. Evan 760-476-3514 evan@racetechelectric.com
  4. Hi Turbo, Did you get this figured out? As a heads up to everybody, we've been talking about this via PM this week. The lights burned out due to either running the lighting circuit without an AC voltage regulator (always required for AC powered halogen lights), or a bad voltage regulator (still waiting to hear if one was used or not). So just a heads up guys, if you're running your stock lights, or any halogens powered directly from the stator (AC voltage source), make SURE to use an AC voltage regulator. The voltage rises with RPM, and can go well over 60VAC at higher RPM's. That is plenty to destroy any headlight bulb.
  5. I didn't take the time to read this closely. It's Vintage Smoke, hey Nick! Disregard my post..
  6. Hey guys, I think I've fixed the coupon issues. I checked and tested them all myself and they are working correctly. If you have a problem, please post it here, and tell me exactly which product you are trying to buy, and which coupon code you are using. Also, tell me the error you are getting when trying to use the coupon. This will help me and I can track down the problem. If I don't pick up at the shop (if you got the fax machine, I was on the phone on our Line 1, and it rang thru to our backup line), just leave a message, or call back in 10-15 minutes. We have 2 lines but get many phone calls. Often times I have to just let the machine answer for me and I return calls later in the day.
  7. Get over to the Group Buy page linked above and buy your parts now! The group buy price is as good as it's gonna get. Still going on right now.

  12. Hi guys! I'm sorry I've been out of action on the site for about a week. I came down with the flu very bad late last week, and was completely out of commission. I'm doing a final count now to see where we're at. I think we have enough guys to make this work. I'll post again today to wrap this up.
  13. These stators will not affect spark/ignition at all compared to the stock stator. The AC lighting stator provides more output than the stock stator, as well as 2 outputs for running your lights. The DC conversion kit allows you to charge a battery. If you choose to do this, and run your lights from the battery, you will not see any flicker, as the battery voltage does not vary much with RPM.
  14. Change of plans, upon further though I'd like to send out a second test part. Who is very interested in testing, and can get the stator on a bike and run hard within 1 week of receiving it?
  15. So we're up to 5 people now it looks like? I can't do a discount/group buy price on the drag/race stators right now. I may in a couple weeks. Anybody else getting in on this? Come on guys we need to get to 10 so I can unlock the purchasing page for you!
  16. I would be VERY wary of a $35 stator. For that price, it is probably factory direct from China. I've seen most stators on the market, but I don't recognize that part. I would pass on that, and that's not just me trying to sell. I'd hop into the group buy going on for a good deal, or you can purchase direct from us anytime! Let me know if you have any questions. Group Buy thread: http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=165626&hl=stator
  17. Just talked to Finch, he will be testing the first race prototype. Going out to him tomorrow. Updates to follow soon guys!
  18. Glad to see this filling up! As for the questions about the older bikes, YES this stator will work just fine. As it was said, you'll have to swap the connector. You can easily just swap the connector over from your stock 94- stator onto my part and be ready to rock. I can write up instructions for doing so. I also have a detailed set of wiring instructions I sketched out, that I will put into PDF form so you guys can download them from my website soon.
  19. If I completely rewind these I'll have to charge a significant amount. If there is a ton of interest, I can build different winding configurations on this core though. I doubt I would change the ignition coil output since there is not really a performance gain to be had. These supply plenty of peak voltage to run the Banshee ignition perfectly. The real gain would probably be from a hotter coil on the bike. Also regarding the CDI failure in Sheerider's bike, I guarantee that had nothing to do with this stator. At all. That was unfortunate, but was a coincidental failure of his CDI box during testing.
  20. Thanks Matt. No need to pay right now, I'd rather have everybody pay when it closes, easier to track. I just need to know that you're buying something from the list above, I don't need to know what it is right now, since you'll finalize the purchase through our website where you can choose whichever item you'd like.
  21. Hey BHQ, I want to offer you guys a group buy on stators. We have a great product for these bikes, and I'd like to help you all get em for a great price. Any of our Banshee parts are eligible for this group buy. I will list them below. I need to get a least 10 committed buyers to offer this price. The group buy will unlock a special coupon code I will give to each of you, depending on what you'd like to buy. You will then purchase on our website using the coupon code to receive your discount. 95-06 Yamaha Banshee High Power Dual Output AC Lighting Stator Regular Price: $109 Group Buy Price: $90 18% discount 95-06 Yamaha Banshee High Power 200W DC Charging Stator Regular Price: $114.99 Group Buy Price: $95 18% discount 95-06 Yamaha Banshee High Power 200W DC Stator & Regulator/Rectifier Kit Regular Price: $159.99 Group Buy Price: $120.00 25% discount As always with us, free shipping in the USA. 22. Hey BHQ, If you haven't seen the other thread, starting here: http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=157853&page=7 There was some interest in a race/drag stator with no lighting or charging output. At first I didn't really see the benefit to doing this, without developing a new core, which would be time consuming and expensive. However, after some thought, there is a need and an advantage with this part. Having the ignition windings evenly spaced with no charging/lighting coils next to each ignition pole should significantly lower heat buildup in the ignition windings, and contribute to longevity and reliability. This will make setup and wire routing very simple, with just a single connector for the ignition system wiring harness. This stator will work with any backing plate, stock or adjustable timing plate, and is very easy to install. They will be $139 each, and handmade by special order for now. However, to get this started, I need somebody to test the prototype and give me some feedback. I need somebody that can test the part immediately upon receiving it (within a week at least). They will need to pay full price for the part, which will be refunded after receiving complete feedback. Here's some pictures: Here is the stator out of the box, about to get started: Removed securing zip ties & lighting ground screw: Unwinding lighting/charging coils: Getting there!: Epoxying wire wire connections & leads for ignition coils: And here is the final race stator ready to rock: If you are interested in testing please call me at 760-476-3514, leave a message if I don't answer. You can also email me at evan@racetechelectric.com. Thanks! Now, comments, questions, feedback?
  23. Shipped today Chris You should have an email with a tracking number.
  24. Here she is. Shined up, epoxied and ready to rock. Who's testing? I'm gonna start a new thread specifically for this project!
