Stuff really needs to be clean of all oil and grease. Sandblast all old finishes off and wipe down with a good cleaner. Alcohol, MEK, or the such. and you need an oven that will reach at least 400 deg, a way to hang your parts with small wires. Then have fun I powdered my stuff last year but was able to use a walk in oven at work but I did use the eastwood stuff with no problems. bitte schon

Man F**K. Last weekend I thought I had froze a piston. But OH NO. The skirt broke off the piston on the left cylinder and screwed up the crank shaft bearings. Not really to expensive to fix just a lot more work. Just gotta be done before Memorial Day at Little Sahara. The hard part will be keeping the 4 year old from runnin off with that important bolt or something.

Well I locked mine up last weekend. Dont really know what happened maybe didnt shake the gas good enough. But my question is what would a 420 bore and piston add for HP based that im at about 56 now. Can you rebuild after the bore or do you resleeve and bore back to 420 for rebuilds?
