  1. I have the chest mount. I like it best for dirt biking (better body positioning for the view) when I'm on the shee, I mount it on the side of my helmet.
  2. looking for turbine core 2s not power core 2s...thanks though,
  3. are they the old turbines or the turbine core 2s? would you sell just the silencers?
  4. x2 warped plates will make it doo that too.
  5. I agree with you there. Is your crank trued and welded?
  6. What was your psi before you installed the 17's. Here's some info from noss machine: Approximate Cranking Compression These pressures are estimates based on fresh stock bore, piston, porting, and deck height. It is recommended to check your compression after installation. 7. I think it would just give me an excuse to go 4mil
  8. alright guys. I picked up my 1st shee about 3 weeks ago. Its been a blast to ride. Motor is all stock except for fmf fattys and 2into1 carb. I advanced the timing 4 degrees yesterday and liked the bottom end response. It was slight but definately noticable. I am thinking about the chariot racing cool head and going with 17cc domes. I live at 5500' elevation. the compression is at 100psi now and I think that I should be at 150-160psi with 17cc domes. You guys know how big of a difference this will make on the bottom end? I only ride trails. My 2003 cr250 is pushing 170psi and lugs like a 4 stroke....it helps that it has a power valve, but was wondering how the banshee would respond to a significant bump in compressoon. Thanks DUDES!
  9. with that much variation between cylinders, you might wanna freshen up the top end.
  10. check your throttle cable if you have not already. Make sure they have a clean route from the throttle to the carbs.
  11. Dude! you rock. I betcha a -2" and 22's will work....but just barely.
  12. Yeah, I'm thingking that its a done deal whether or not i can run nerfs. Worst case, The nerfs get a bit of grinding and welding action to make them fit
  13. yeah! they're supposed to be the bee's knees for trail riding. I just picked up my first banshee and its set up petty nice for trails but on loose hard pack it just spins the wheels when I try to lift the front over obstacles......hopefully a -2" will work out well. I'll for sure post pics and reviews in a few weeks. I gotta say that I do love 2 strokes. I do a lot of single track on my 03' cr250 all done up with 2mm over bore and eric gorrs Mo Betta Porting. The thing rips. Love my trx450r for trails but my banshee has proven to be the most righeous trail bike yet......so much fun when that rubber band, I mean power band kicks in lol!
  14. Yeah i know but it will give me a general idea. I know on my 400ex with prm nerfs I coudn't run 22's.
  15. Are you on pump gas? I was wondering because Im at 5500' and wanted to get the smallest dome while still running 91 oct.
  16. Sweet bike. Looks like it might work. Whats the clearance between the ners and the tire?
  17. kinda what i was thinking too. Dont have nerfs now but may put some on down the road.
  18. im running 22" hole shot xct's.
  19. anyone running a -2" swinger with 22" rears? Hows it ride? I'm 50" wide so stability is not an issue. Just not sure if it will be too short with 22" rears. Thx.
  20. Hey guys. I'm in prescott and have a few locals that I ride single track and other misc trails with on my 2 wheeler but am looking for guys/ gals with quads. Just picked up my 1st banshee set up for trails and it rips. would like to ride with some other banshee owners.
  21. it also depends on your elevation. im at 5500' and i can run 18cc domes on pump gas.
