  1. someone that dont like zilla im guessing ? but he dont have no part of this so dont give him no shit
  2. not to get in a pissing match but trans oil is white smoke also. just sayin
  3. before you bother taking head off and make big mess with coolant just got to autozone and rent a free cooling system tester
  4. tricked its all cool. ive been questioned before, bench full of cylinders that i already had ported or was in the process of working on shut everyone up. now im questioned again. i guess unless your a sponsor youll forever be in question ? hell even some of the sponsors are in question from time to time. whatever. you just cant win around here. but then again i wasnt here to win anyones aproval or do things the way everyone else does it. did i show the triple port stockers i been working on ? cant recall if i did or not. anyways theyre not your run of the mill triple stockers you see from most everyone else. but hey any dipshit with a dremel can turn out a set of triples . sure it would be 100hrs less work to throw on a cleaned up cub and be like everyone else but i have no desire to be like everyone else. sooner or later ill have a running engine with vids, pics etc etc. been collecting parts here and there, got some reed blocks, clutch cover, lockout, rods, few other items but this shit takes time. geez it can take several months just for crankworks to do up a crank. anyone thats done a ground up project knows what im talkin about
  5. hey bud ive never asked you for anything so dont flatter yourself by being nice to me. im grown and can handle what ever shit comments you wanna throw at me . speaking of asking for stuff, wasnt it you that not long ago was here asking about porting a honda ? couldnt figure it out or something. maybe it was someone else but for some reason it seems like it was you. now a few months later you a porting professional. hahah. run along back to gordon jennings book. if you wanna know a secret the latest version blair book is better bansheeHP at no time did i ever say i wanted to use a 513, or was going to use a 513 or had used a 513. all this piston bullshit started when i started asking about the new piston in the drivline thread. because the cp site lists different rod options for some of the cylinders i assumed the cylinders were cast with different height to accomidate which ever length of rod a guy chose to use. i believe it was rubber neck that brought it to my attention the fine print showed that theres just one generic cylinder casting and that either a piston with higher pin or spacer would need to be used. you nitwits just assumed i was already using a 513. wasnt long after that everything turned into a cluster fuck circus. i dont have a 513, never used a 513. need it explained any more clear than that ? sleeper you can keep changing parts, dont matter to me. my obligations cover a wide range, not just turning wrenches in a cold garage 24/7. its possible one day your engine will meet mine, although my crystal ball is broke so i couldnt say exactly what day, but when it happens the whole world will know who is the bestest and be awarded the prized crown of dyno queen
  6. guess ill just quit my day job and have a build off with all you sad mofos. hell even if your not the guy building a single thing on the engine (like sheerider11), your still calling people out. what ever i guess. i hope to have something put together by the summer. -15* here right now so im in no hurry to turn frozen wrenches. when i got my junk together you folks will be the first to know. then we can have one big queerish dyno race day and a dyno quenn can be crowned. bansheeHP im not sure why you keep saying 7mm spacer. 5mm is all you would need. i remember back on another topic when a few guys said you werent no builder, now i see why. now i gotta go to work. you fellas have a good day and great new year
  7. dont flame me but why is there 2 copper washers under the acorn nuts ? was it just that particular head had alot shaved off the base and the nuts are to shallow now or was them studs just longer than the standard length
  8. maybe theres 10 reasons why the 513 is a bad idea. just figured with all these folks thats been there and done that with a banshee, you would think somebody might have atleast half a answer
  9. burke like i said, its easy to say something is a bad idea. its another matter to explain why. alot of people tend to follow what everyone else does, whether its right or wrong, because they dont know any better if you look back to the pic i showed of the divider shapes, i said that i thought the V was a bad idea but i went on to explain a reason WHY i thought it was a bad idea. i have no 100% proof of my idea but i am very certain of what happens with a V shape so far all we have is a bunch of people saying the 513 is a bad idea.........
  10. its easy to say something doesnt work. its another matter to explain why it doesnt work we know why a yaris isnt used for cargo transport
  11. hey bro there was never any talk of me using a 513 on 4mil 115rod. i merely asked if anyone had tried it but everyone immediatly said its a horibble idea and to use 795 instead. it was pretty much a free for all after that. does the 513 really suck or does everyone just use the 795 out of convenience ? so far it seems the 795 is nothing more than convenience.
  12. i started this thread so on the 4th page i could secretly get sprinkleman to give out his divider info
  13. sorry i dont recall seeing it. im curious to read all about it if you can point me in the right direction. then again i havent dug into many of the older threads. perhaps thats where it is ? theres plenty of absolute fact regarding window and tunell shape. if there werent we wouldnt have anything better than what we seen in 1985
  14. knife edge ? its a V shaped snowplow. the pic should be perfectly clear what happens. interprit it how ever you want. say the intake meens nothing, dont make a shit bit of difference to me. almost forgot you never bothered to say anything more about them badd ass stockers with untouched intakes. must be a secret i guess prefered piston height hmm, this could be just out of convenience for the end user. making the pin location any other height than +5mm would require more parts. extra gaskets, spacers, pipes with different mount locations etc etc. whether you want to believe it or not most people that own these machines are parts changers, adding complexity with parts that arent plug and play probly isnt a good thing. so keep it simple whether the engine performs better or not. since theres alot of folks around here that have been there and done that with these engines, surely somebody would have some results of a 513 in a 4mil 115 rod engine ? i asked about your test cylinders regarding the divider. you ignored the question. if you did infact do any test specifically regarding dividers (which i highly doubt), then i would be curious how the test was done. stock cylinders ? was anything else changed besides divider shape or length or width ? seat of the pants or dyno or some other method ? i dont expect pics as i dont believe there ever was a test but its all cool.
  15. in all due respect , wasnt the wr just a '87 490 ? more or less lol case reeds is just a inlet hole right to the crankshaft area. piston is fully supported up above so theres no need for bridges or boyesens
  16. you would be the shit if you kicked everyones ass with a big ass spacer plate engine hahaha
  17. who said 795 wouldnt work. i didnt see anybody say that. put the pin where ever you want, its still gonna run. i figured maybe someone had tested the 513 but i guess not
  18. i dont think theres been a engine made after 1982 that doesnt have boyesens. well except banshee and blaster
  19. we arent comparing cylinders. only the divider. calvin could have used any shape but he knew a traditional V like the pics i shown is no good. is there any youtube vids of these impressive engines with no intake work ?
  20. zillafreek probly has some food stamps i bet he would buy that idea
  21. hey i just wanted to see what you nitwits would say lol. as i suspected you dont know anything about a 513 in a 4mil 115 rod engine. run along parts changers
  22. im sure ive mentioned it before but take a look at calvins cylinders. his dividers arent just a randowm design he pulled out of his ass. he knew what works
  23. do you have any pics of you test cylinders ? im not arguing there would be a huge difference either way but if you go to the trouble of grinding the whole cylinder then it doesnt make sense in my mind to put a V on the divider, unless the porting shop is just following everybody else because he doesnt know any better. its no secret how air flows over objects so theres plenty of evidence which way is better. theoretically it should give more power. i have no plans to test the V shape because i already know its not the better way. and like i said the cross sectional area of the window when it enters the bore is decreased with steep angles leading into the window. we see the same thing with the boost port and its steep angle. often times its as large as the side transfers but because of its angle the cross sectional area is not as great
  24. these seem to be your common cylinders that youll typically see. snowplow style bride and fairly steep roof
