  1. Thanks man i was kinda freakin out here . I think im going to leave it alone for a while i just checked my tranny fluid and it seemed fine im going on a ride Saturday i will check it after to see if it dropped a little. Just where the insert isnt in all the way it may be packing. Thanks man.
  2. The dipstick is all good running right in normal range. Im not sure whether its tranny fluid or oil. I might drop the plug see if its regular or not. The smoke is not discolored at all just the normal white. How bad is that crank seal do i need to open the case and shit?
  3. Hi i got my banshee the other day and the right side quite insert (Fat Boy 2's) is not completely in. The right side smokes a little more than the left. Its not a huge difference and im not noticing any power problems it idles fine doesn't bog or anything. I wasn't sure if i was looking at an adjustment on my left/right carb's or im looking at something motor wise. I have not done a compression test yet. I just wanted some opinions on it. Should i worry about it like i said its not a huge difference or is it something i need to jump into? What do you guys think. Im going to do a compression test once i find the meter .
  4. I gotta admit those are some clean welds. The quality of them is outstanding from the welds to the laser cut seratted edges. Too bad my pegs are built into the nerf bars. Good luck with sales man.
  5. Hey guys, I bought a banshee and the plastics are a little scuffed up. None of the scratches are all that deep mostly from woods riding so branches etc. I read somewhere on here that you can wet-sand the plastics. Is this true? Do i have any other options? Its not a big deal to me i thought it would be nice to clean it up a little. Thanks for any input.

  7. Thanks for the input guys my motor isn't ported (yet). I am going to keep Vitos as an option like Jereme wiseco makes their buisness off of pistons so no doubt they know what their doing you get what you pay for (in most cases) i have found a complete Wiseco top end kit for $288 from one of my favorite motorcycle parts retailer so im probably going with that. 3 Rebuilds down the road i will start thinking about porting when i get bored with it ill use Kevin or Jeff. Thanks for the input guys.
  8. Hey guys im new to the whole Banshee scene and i was wondering what you guys thought of Vitos Performance. I didn't know whether it be good things or bad things. I found their top end kit HERE it seems awfully cheap to me alot cheaper then wiseco. So have you guys heard of them?
  9. Check your Carbs out. Like said above its prob the float height.
  10. Im no expert im not sure if you can really tell your best bet would be swaping out with a friend if possible. There might be a way to test.

  16. I would definitely dispute the charge. Sometimes most scammers come off as straight up guys. Not gifiting the payment saved your ass.
  17. I just switched from 4 stroke dirt bikes to a Banshee and im completely loving it. Ill probably never go back to a 4 stroke.
  18. I run Lucas Oil Granted it is more expensive but you cant beat most of their products for any engine.
  19. I definitely will be buying a tether for my shee. I dont see this really happening with a quad but still its very possible for somthing to happen any newbie (like myself) should have a tether.
  20. Hey guys i bought my first shee the other day. It has paul turner racing midrange pipes on it. It has the exact thing for the first bolt on kit from Duncan foundHere Has anyone had them or should i switch to toomey or Cpi? I ride mostly trails. It also has those Duncan fiber reeds in it i think i might switch them to VForce3. Should i make any changes or leave it how it is?
  21. Well i just picked up my first shee and took it out yesterday. I completely loved the thing it was running perfect for the first 45 minutes then i lost all bottom end power it bogged out and died. I know for a fact the petcock or the fuel switch whatever you want to call it is screwed up. One is on the way in the mail. I turned it to reserve and it fired right up no problems at all. I turned it back to the tank and it did it again like 30 minutes later. Do you think it might be because the petcock is messed up? Thanks guys
  22. I dont really get it most of the time the cops in my town dont get out there in the cruisers and chase me they go door to door figuring out who rides. It gets old when there at the door every other month. Cant wait for them to try to catch me on my shee i just picked up.
  23. Atleast it wasnt too bad of a fix. Lots of people forget when you do up a motor most trannys clutches and shifters just cannot take the power.
  24. Atleast you got the shee back together. 1000$ seems a little steep unless you had to do the entire front end?
