Get the head milled or buy a cool head and have domes cut. It has to be a 4 mil with the spacer plate. Sounds like you made out good on the trade. What carbs were on it?? Post a picture. Im interested. As far as jetting its not my cup of tea. I would be interested in pictures of the carbs that came off when you put stockers on. It they are bigger maybe we can help you get it running and breathing better with those bigger carb, if they are in fact bigger. Just upload a picture and measure the side that goes in the carb boot with a set of calipers. I know that wasnt in question but im interested if they are bigger and if someone on here could help with it. Anyways back on topic, many site sponsor do head milling, F.A.S.T. is affordable. And for the more expensive route, a lot of site sponsors cut domes and sell the cool head shells for you to be able to get rid of the spacer plate

with a 421, atleast if i had one, it would have pwk 39s on it. But 35s are good by all means, regarding the intake boots i believe they would fit because i have also seen the boots advertised like you first stated

doesnt need gussets. Nothing wrong with that frame. Have seen and heard of many that have had no problems.

looking for some tie rods that will adjust between 14" - 16". My measurement was 14 3/4" eye to eye or around that. Thanks in advance.

Well my update today is just to say i go my axle in and all that good stuff. Also got my grille from JD this morning and im really happy with it.

I wouldnt say any other exhaust. It all depends on what type of riding. If youre dragging, look at cpi, shearer, LED, etc. All depends on riding style. Trail riding with t5 isnt great, thats why the tr6 came out. The t5 are in the power or they arent it seems. I have a set on my play bike. They are snappy and they are very loud compared to others most dont like that in the trails. There is a lot of options. I have owned both the t5's and the fmfs and i like the t5's more, mostly because of the power stand point, but its depends on your riding.

FMF's on ebay for $240 just need a little sanding and polishing the surface rust. Guy on here, not sure of his name made a rusted up set of fmfs look brand new with the right polishing technique.

$250 for just the expansion chambers? and they are t5's? i just feel like i would be a little take advantage of on that deal. Jussayin. With silencers id buy them all day. but that set i posted is a pretty decent set. Are you dead set on toomeys? FMF's go cheap around here and on ebay.
