I know you said you checked but honestly check your case vent lines and your coolant hoses coming from overflow bottle...people mix those up sometimes at the "T" fittings...I would personally ditch the coolant bottle all together...run your overflow tube right down over rad and zip tie it to frame right over one of your expansion pipes...if you do overflow you will see smoke usually in time to shut it down before it shuts itself down....

If ya wanna redneck it take a cloths pin off the line ...pull choke out...apply cloths pin...when bike warms up remove cloths pin and clamp to fuel line for future use! That IS if you dont have a file...

Did you check spark plugs? Another thing to try is switching the plug wires between cylinders and see if the other side fires now. Best thing to do when getting a banshee and not having complete history records is do a compression test and a leakdown test and see where your at...I wouod try a compression test due to the fact its so easy even a caveman can do it...search leakdown test on here andbthat will get you heading in the right direction for that...a few simple tests will save you a lot of money and time chasing problems that a gauge can figure out for you... Welcome to the darkside!

Why dont remove wires and swap them to differant plug? Onlyvhave to change one of the plugs. ..I took my 03 cdi and swapped the plugs for my wifes 95...easy peasy!
