back when i was interested in athenas 392cc kit i watched a video on youtube, i dont have a link but i can post it up tomorrow. video was athena 392cc banshee. it was like the first banshee vid. anyhow, the guy shows he has intake fans on the back of his carbs, in the video details it tells you what they are and theyre on ebay for cheap. you guys think they do anything for performance?

i got a set of 65mm cylinders with a dune port and pistons and gaskets. boreing/cross hatching: kevin does the best ive ever seen. the bore is spot on in each cylinder and the crosshatching is art work. dune port: i havent gotten to ride my shee yet, but the cylinders are exactly the same and the ports look great, id reccomend to get all your motor work done by kevin.

my motor is tore down while i get my crank welded for my dune port cylinders. i have dirt digger clutch plates inside a stock basket, other than that my tranny is stock.... are there any mods i should do while im apart? im not doing a 4mil though. any input would be great. thanks.

well ill wait till i get it all set up on my stockers first. i might see if i can do some more supporting mods, but the 28mm carbs are brand new and i really wouldnt want to take such a hit on the price. but ill talk to kevin and see what he thinks would be the best supporting mods for it... also, its crazy when i took the lid off the airbox, it needed 330 main jets, last (rich) clip on the needle, 27.5 pilot jets and 2 turns out..... kevin said with the porting it needs 330 main jets, 25 pilots, and 2-3 turns out on the air screw.... i thought porting would require more fuel?

the kit is a shaved stock head with wiseco forged pistons for the 65mm mx hardcore cylinders, he wants me to run pc pipes and stock carbs, which i have no clue why when i have 28mm carbs? im looking for a cool head. also he said +5 timing, this kit is a pump gas kit for stock stroke...

Why would i feel bad? I mean inhave a set of ported cylinders ill throw on if i dont like these? And plus.... a stroker is a different story bud.

Im going to have pro circuit pipes, 28mm or 30mm carbs, no lid on air box, vf3 reeds, 19cc domes or 20cc domes, +4 timing, and ill be getting a port job. It will be a runner. Theres no doubt in my mind, i will make it so it walks all over stock cylinder ported banshees. I think 34's would be too much for that setup. If he was trail riding?

What mods did it have?

Sold it to buy my new truck. And a buddy of mine is moving into town and wanted to get rid of this, it has so many spare parts that i could sell all the parts cheap and pay for the bike (2200$) so i couldnt pass this up. I really wish someone with this total knowlage of the athena kit could chime in and explain the improvements
