Thank you for your reply. My friends 450r is really quick I really underestimated the 450r. If I am even with him now and I add vforce reeds 35mm carbs and cpi pipes. Are we just talking about a bike length more are will it be worth doing as in maybe pull him 2 to 3 lengths.

Hi I have a stock stroke banshee with a dune port, t5 pipes, plus 4 timing, stock reeds and carbs, coolhead 21cc domes I'm at sea level. I have 340 mains and my bike has been dyno tuned plugs are tan. I have a friend with a honda 450r with the Honda racing cam, port work, lowering kit, dyna cdi. As of right now we raced all day on asphalt and in the dirt we are about dead even every race. We raced from a roll alot also to take as much driver era out of it as possible. So I'm wondering would say 35 mm carbs or Cpi pipes be the next big increase or maybe vf3 reeds. I would like to be able to put a couple of bike lengths on the 450r. If anyone knows what will make the difference please let me know.. I just had the motor rebuilt so I do not want to have to go back into the engine to make it a stroker. I know alot people say stock carbs are good with a stock stroke and some say t5 pipes are good also. So I would like to know if anyone has seen a big difference with carbs or cpi pipes on a stock stroke bike with port work thanks..

Some may refer you to Wild Card Racing I would stick with Jeff at fast or anyone else. I had my motor built by wcr and had problems. In 4 days of light riding I had to have the cases split just my 2 cents. I have also read about their transmissions having problems.

Good deal man glad to see you got it working!!! You want to jet your bike so your plug is a brown color like in the pic.

Try a 340 main and put the clip in the middle postion. That works for mine and we have about the same mods... What does the other plug look like? I have dual K&n air filters also. Your mains seem a little high what is your elevation I'm at sea level. Can you rev it at all? It could be a jet stopped up. I really think your mains or to big unless the other side looks fine then I would say clean the carb and jets out..

I have a set of chrome t-5 pipes with fmf silencers pipes are in good condition not show chrome but look nice. I would like to trade for a set of sb inframe cpi pipes again i'm not looking for show chrome just something that looks good thanks..

Hey man I don't think wcr is all its cracked up to be. I have heard some people speak highly of them. I'll tell you I spent over 1300 dollars having Brandon rebuild my motor. When I got it back I had under 4 hours on it when it welded the rod to the ball. When I called and talked to him I did not get any kind of refund or anything just it happens type of thing. I would say you have to do alot of research before letting anyone do the work.. I do hear alot of good things about Jeff at F.A.S.T racing. So I am not very happy with wcr work myself... Seriously I think there should be some kind of warranty or something like if your shit breaks the first time you use it maybe its not bc you did something wrong lol.. I mean my bike is not a drag bike are anything and I didn't even ride it hard for those few hours I was just breaking it in.

My stock coil went out on my banshee so I bought a set of nology hotwires. I installed everything and grounded the spark plug wire grounding straps under the head bolts one on each side.. I wanted to see how big of spark I got compared to stock so I put the spark plug in the cap and held it to the head and kicked it over. It shocked me the other one was really weak and did not shock me so I'm just wondering if this is normal or is something wrong with my wires...

Personally I wouldn't sell it for under $3000!!!

Hi I just built a stock stroke stock cylinder banshee. I want to build a 4mil I had wildcard racing port my cylinders. On the dyno with stock carbs I'm pulling 65hp. However I need unported jugs for my 4 mil build if you want to trade plus some cash My cell is 985-517-3402 thanks.
