Hey, I need some serious help on jetting right now...Winter is here and I wanna get fun! Engine is freshly rebuilt and I currently run 270 mains, with 27.5 pilots. Rest of jets are stock size, 2 1/4 turns on air screws. Modifications are airbox with K&N filters no lid, Pro Circuit SS Pipes, stock 26mm carbs, shaved stock head, 65mm oversized pistons, 40:1 mix and timing plate is set at +4 .... Thing is i'm still running too rich... And here's something else I can't figure out. I start the engine, REV IS WAY TOO HIGH, as much as the engine gets hot, rev goes down and engine finish by cutting off. Spark plug blown.... On cylinder 1 only. Help me! I love my banshee but this is pissing me off... Thank you, Frank

So in other words, if I want to switch front shocks for something reliable, I should just stick with STOCK YFZ450 shocks since the modification is easier to do and requires less "adjustments"?

I'm not a mechanic but rods bearings turns smoothly and for crank bearings, from left to right, the first one is okay, next 2 aren't moving smoothly and last one is loose as hell.

I rebuilt my engine couple of weeks ago and I want to get rid of these. Give these parts a new life. Can be sold or traded seperately. - Wiseco Stroker (4mil) Crank with Long Rods (5mm), needs new bearings otherwise in great shape. - Unknown Porting cylinders (I can take pictures), needs to be drilled. Was 0.030 overbore. - Rhino Coolhead with machined 20 cc domes. Good condition. I'm looking to get rid of those for cheap. Offer accessories!

So yeah, I'm new to banshee driving so I don't push it a lot yet. Current jetting is TOO rich right now : 40:1 gas/oil mix, Stock 26mm carbs, 30 pilot jet, 270 main jet, 3rd position needle I got K&N Filter in stock airbox w/o lid. Also have Pro Circuit Pipes with 304 Silencers. .040 overbore. I PLAN on going with 240-260 main jets, 25 pilot, no mods to needle. Same gas/oil mix. Confirm please! Thanks
