  1. So, today I did a leakdown test, and I lost 1.5 psi in 15 minutes. Is that acceptable? Thanks!!
  2. Needs help in determining if my vforce3 reeds are bad. After a visual inspection the petals look in good shape, but if you look add them against the light you can see light coming thru between the center petals and the cage itself. I thing I read once that if you could see light leaking thru, the reeds were bad. Help?
  3. You are right, I'll try to clean it first. Hopefully that's all it will need. Thanks
  4. I ride at least twice a week. I'll be taking it apart tonight. Where did you get the niddle valve? Is there a kit?
  5. Today I went out for a quick ride, and almost ran out of gas out in the desert. Went out with a full tank, and nearly made it back after only about 30 min ride. Come to find out, the right carbon drain line is steadily drain fuel. Not dripping, but a stedy flow. This just to happened today. Has anybody experienced this ?
  6. "gotta_gofast " I really appreciate your inputs! and you are correct, after posting this question I did some more search and was able to find information about the engine cc's depending on cylinder bore and crank combinations. You are correct in order to get 410cc with a 4mm crank, you would need to be running a 68mm bore cylinder. I found a table that had a lot of possible combinations of bore sizes and cranks and it would say what cc you would have. Now I can't find it. But like I said Thank you for taking the time to answer my question!!!!
  7. Okay, allow me to rephrase that question; What does it takes to make a stock 350cc motor to go up to a 410cc motor? Is this where the 4mm crank comes into play?
  8. So, I'm curious, if I do a 4mm crank on my motor, will that take the cc of my engine to a 410cc? Sorry if I my question is stupid!!! I'm new to the Banshee and I'm trying to learn as much as I can.
  9. Been thinking on getting a hit ms hardcore port, can someone running this port share their experiences? Other than T-5's, timing plate set @+4, and tors removed, my she'd is stock. My motor has never been open and my compression is @the 115 on both cylinder. At 2300 feet. What else should I do to it? I ride in desert embodiment, and im looking for some extra power.

  13. SoCal! I have a set of four factory Banshee wheels and a pair of Dunlop rear tires (50% threads left) for sale for $50.00 for wheels/tires, local pickup only. Shipping will probably make this deal not cost effective. Here are some pics:
  14. Here is a stupid question, Where can I buy a replacement kit starter shaft seal? I just replaced the water pump on my bike and the kick stater shaft seal that goes on the clutch cover needs to be replaced. I went to rockymountain atv, and they have the seal for $3.00, but the shipping is $7.00. Yes is only $7.00, but I hate paying more on shipping than the part's actual cost. I've looked on ebay with no luck. Anybody knows where I can get this? My local Yamaha dealers don't have it either. Thanks!!
  15. Update, First I will like to say Thank you "blowit" for such a quick response to my call!!! A++++++ customer support!! considering I called on a Saturday around 4:30PM pacific time, I never expected to get a response until Monday, so Thank you again for such a great service!! After talking to blowit today, I followed his recommendations and I'm glad to report that the new billet impeller works excellent. Thank you Mull Engineering for such a great product.
  16. Okay, so today I decided to install my new Mull water pump/gear, and I ran into some issues. Well, when I installed the new pump and gear, when I rotate the pump by hand, the fins rub against the water pump housing. Is this normal? I know everything is installed correctly, Here is a picture of the housing, notice the black scratch marks that the new pump left behind. Anybody has experienced this issue with the Mull water pumps? http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i391/traxxi2003/MullWaterPump.jpg
  17. Hello everyone! I need to see some pictures of Alba LT A-Arms installed on the bike. Anybody? Also, does anybody knows if the LT Alba arms are +2,+1? or Are they only +2? On the Alba website, they state they are +2 only. But every post I've read here everybody claims they are +2,+1. Thanks!
  18. Well, I've decided to go with Leager +2,+1 Long Travel arms. Thanks for your inputs though!!
  19. Finch, I got a set of factory wheels, front & back $50.00 +shipping.
  20. Okay, so I just ordered a Leager/Elka long travel suspension for the shee, but what should I do with the rear suspension? What is everybody doing? I know there is an Elka rear shock, but $1300-1500 is way more than I would like to spend. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
  21. Hey, does anybody know if Houser makes long travel a-arms for the Banshee? I've looked all over the internet, but nothing. I know they do offer them for the yzf450 from 2005-on. My next question is, is it possible to install the houser yzf450 long travel a-arms to the Banshee? I,m aware of the available aftermarket LT arms for the banshee, the thing is, I don't like any of them.
  22. No, I did not performed a leak down test, my motor has never been opened. I just took a compression reading and both cylinders are at exactly 115psi @ 2300feet elevation. She is running strong, I just had never noticed the oil residual in there before. Is it normal to have some oil residual around the valves? O, I also checked the fuel peg, and no it is completely dry/clean. Thanks for your response!!
  23. Hello! Newbie with stupid question; I was giving my bike a quick look over before heading out, and noticed that there is oil residual around my V-Force reed valves. Specifically where the reed valve cage comes in contact with the cylinders. Also where the carbs rubber mount come in contact with the reed valves. I did installed the provided gaskets that came with the valves. Is this a sign that I do not have a good seal between my cylinders, reed valves and carbs mounts? Should I be concern? or it is normal operation? Should I have apply a thin film of rtv during installation? Thanks!!
  24. Are the Elka Shocks still available?
