  1. Winchester bay in march or April. I got to get my motor done and break it in. Then I will be on the dunes.
  2. I have owned every 450 minus the ktm. They are all pretty comparable and good in their own way. I have a ds 450 right now and its an awesome machine. I'm not gonna say its so much better than the others but its very light and nimble and fun to ride. I had a Suzuki for a couple years to and it was an awesome bike to with lots of power. I just like that not many people in the Oregon dunes have ds 450.
  3. I ran torco gp7 for three years in my last banshee 40:1 . It ran great and burns very clean. I switched to klotz super techniplate 40:1 on my new banshee due to builder recommendation. It burns a little dirtier but still good stuff.
  4. I tore mine down today. The piston was all scored up and the skirt of the pistion broke off. Cylinder doesn't look to good either. Since the skirt broke off, do you guys think I need to split the case and check for pieces of the piston? Might need new cylinders. Could be pricey.
  5. I have a banshee that was just rebuilt last october and only has about 20 hrs on it. It is ported, decked head, v force 3 reeds, cpi pipes and silencers, 320 main. I did a compression test and the left side only has 110 pounds and the right side has 150. the left side doesn't seem to be firing with minimal exhaust coming out the left side exhaust and its cold. Went through and cleaned the carbs and still no luck. Has good spark. put new plugs in, swapped spark plug boots and the problem stays on the left side. looking for ideas before I tear into the motor. Thanks
