No dunes. They do have a sand hill but it's nothing special. It's like 50 feet of sand up a small incline. Other than that there are tons of trails and the 3 tracks. It's a pretty good place to ride. I've been so many times it's kind of lost it's newness but I still have a good time. If we get a bunch of Banshees there that will make it that much more fun!

I'll pm you when I get back from dinner with some pics. Yea, I'm totally cool bringing to Badlands with me. We could put them on right there.

So there's been a lot of talk of putting together a spring ride for Haspin after we all put the Badlands trip in the memory books. So, I'm thinking we should do this when we know it should be warm so we can camp. I'm thinking we should arrive at Haspin on a Saturday, camp over night and ride Sunday too. Really, the first step is setting a date. I'm thinking sometime in May would be idea. However, Memorial Day weekend is out of the question because that place is crazy packed and won't be worth the trip. How would May 16th and 17th work for everyone? This is the weekend before Memorial Day weekend. If this works we'll set it in stone and go from there. I will be loading up and bring my gas grille to cook out on. I will set everything up and get with Haspin to let them know we are coming! Haspin is located at 21208 Laurel Rd Laurel, IN 47024 (765) 698-2420 Their web site is http://www.haspinacres.com This place has two tracks, a 300 foot drag strip and 800 acres of wooded trails. I ride there often and can tell you anything you'd like to know about it.

I'm thinking like $150 plus shipping. The only thing is they are shorter than stock and actually lower the quad a bit. This is why we removed them from the bike.

Not highjacking the thread but I see there's a lot of interest in a Haspin ride. I'll start the thread now and we'll work on the dates.

We could do Haspin. That's my local spot! I've been there countless times. You can always camp there and you can ride from 9am to 9pm. You can also fish there if that's your thing. The riding isn't bad and they've got two tracks and a 300 foot drag strip. They hold Trikefest there every year and they have a great turn out. I'd have to agree that if you do camp you wouldn't have to get a new bracelet for the next day. You're supposed to but I've never seen anyone checking them ever. If we go with Haspin sometime this year, I'll play host and put it all together. I could bring my gas grille and anything else we need to camp. It's not far at all from me.

I totally agree! I was already thinking the same thing. Once this trip is said and done we can start planning!

Yea, I agree man. I'm cool with leaving at 4am but I have to make sure all the people riding with me are. I think our best bet is to have an option. If you want to eat breakfast, be at Uncle B's at 7:30. If not, then be at the Badlands gates at 8:30. Would anyone be interested in a group picture in front of the Badlands sign?

That'll be sweet if you guys can make it. I'm also driving 3.5 hours.

Do you think we can pull that off if we still meet at Uncle B's at 7:30am? The thing for me is in order for me to get there at 7:30 I will have to be in my truck and on my way at 4:00am.

Okay, I just got off the phone with Badlands. Their flags do have a bolt on them so as long as you have a spot on your grab bar they will bolt right up without any other holders. I also asked about the best breakfast place that can accommodate 30 to 40 riders and they told me Uncle B's is the place to go. The lady at badlands told me her sister actually works there so when we go ask for Jenny at Uncle B's and she'll take care of us! Uncle B's is located at Uncle B's Family Restaurant 1100 E Main ST. Attica, IN 47918 (765)762-6633 This is located less than 3 miles from Badlands so I say if everyone agrees, this is the place we eat! I'd like to be finished with breakfast and back in the truck by 8:45am so I'd say be at the restaurant around 7:30 to 7:45. This gives them plenty of time to serve us all. What's everyone's thoughts?

I'm going to call Badlands today to talk to them about their flags. I could ask them about the best and closest breakfast place to The Badlands. I say we meet there, have breakfast then be at the park at open. Then burn off that biscuits and gravy!

I'm going to call and find out. On a side note, a couple weeks ago we went to Big Rock ATV park in Maysville KY and while riding there we found a Badlands flag in the trails. We picked it up and now it's in my garage. It did NOT have a mount on it.

Does anyone know if the flags come with some kind of mount or will we need flag holders?

Did you buy the new 2009 model? It's definitely sick. Not Banshee sick but 4 stroke sick. LOL

Yea I was but honestly man, I belong off road! If it's sunny and 70 out I'm not riding the R6, I'm riding the banshee. I'm so busy with work when I do get free time I'd rather been on my quad. I want the YFZ for the Wife and for friends to borrow when I go riding. I used to ride street bikes a lot back about 8 years ago but anymore I'm just not so into it.

How many people are you guys bringing with you? I've got 4 other quads and possibly a dirt bike rider coming with me. This looks like we could have a huge turn out.

I should have clarified this, my bad. I do not want used. He wants brand new. The only place I've seen them in on Cascade's site and cascade is over priced on everything they sell. So I'm looking for someone that sells them new for a reasonable price.
