87-94 were round plug 95-96 were their own plug and 97-06 were the same. They push out the same power so you can splice wires and make it work but as for plugs those are the different years that they switched.

Try the 27.5 pilot. That should solve the idling issue. And maybe give Jeff at fast a call. He could give you a good starting point for jets

It's all decently easy to hook up. I would put the temp sensor in the hose that comes out the front of the head. You will get the most accurate reading there. If you got it in the box, I remember the instructions being pretty easy to understand. You shouldn't have to much trouble.

There is a small air gap on each side of the slide that I noticed. Other than that the slide fits great. And like I said, they run good so far. I have a set back now if you would like them. The guy that bought them was told by his builder to use stock size carbs with his port work so i ended up getting them back. I'll send them your way for $35 shipped. No internals with it (floats/jets/choke switch). Heres a pic of the air gap and the carbs incase your interested. They are painted with some metallic paint. You could get it off pretty easy. Pm me if interested.

They look great too. I sold both sets I got from Willard and both people like them a lot so far and they seem to pull better up top then the stock 26mm. I didn't notice a loss on the bottom end while I was jetting it for them so I wouldn't worry much about that low end loss. Jordon
