  1. They all cost the same. The boring will be $40-$120 a cylinder though and you HAVE TOO do both. Good luck with the rebuilt. Like everyone said, do it the right way or dont do it at all. No point in getting another cylinder when you can have them bored for less
  2. Did you mix your gas right? Cracked intake boot? Carb tops screwed on all the way? They don't blow up for no reason. Find that reason before you fix it
  3. Sell your "new" pistons take your cylinders to a machine shop that can bore them out and have them do it. YOU can't bore them. When they bore it out far enough that the scores are gone, mic them, and buy a set of pistons for that bore size with the money from the old ones. They will go .010 more then likely depending how deep the score is in the cylinder. When they tell you how far they bored them out, here is a chart that tells you what over bore takes what piston so you don't fuck up when you get new ones.
  4. Maybe he doesn't get on here much or something.. I would if I was selling something. At least once a day.. Oh well, hopefully soon.
  5. If you knew more about the motor you could probably make around $1000 for just the motor. Maybe more, maybe less. Mic the cylinder and post the number and maybe a picture of the micrometer to verify since you don't really have much feedback from the looks of it, take the intake off and take a picture of the intake ports and post it on here. You can make over 1200 parting out one of these pretty easily.
  6. Anybody know how to get ahold of this guy besides a pm? Paid two days ago with no response since... Not too worried because other people have gotten their stuff, just want to make sure he knows he got paid for them and maybe find out when he could ship them..
  7. Make sure it has a neon green boost bottle and a purple aftermarket powerband. Those make the most power.
  8. :: bigger rear sprocket gives you less top speed. Not much difference, but slower. Smaller rear sprocket is faster and bigger front is faster. If you want power, send in your cylinders to fast or hjr and they will port them for you. Plug wires will not do anything for speed. The aftermarket CDI will help a little giving you like 100 more rpms but you won't notice more speed. But for power, porting is the best bang for your buck.. Also check to see if you have a neon green boost bottle and a purple power band. If you don't have those, your banshee will be slow
  9. It's worth it in the end. I couldn't stand my boots when i first got them. A day of walking around with wet nasty boots and they felt good after that.

You should tell him that the cool name doesn't mean shit. That LRD is a lot better. "Megabomb" is just a cool name, they are quieter than stock and don't really do much for power.. I mean it's a four stroke.. Your wasting your time looking for power from one of them.. not really but go the LRD route.
  11. I'm glad to hear you like them.
  12. Red anodized bars and yfz master cylinder sold to me
  13. Elevation would help too..
  14. For $125 shipped on a crank, buy it. Thats a good price. That is under the "budget" section in my world...
  15. Just keep your eyes open. They aren't too hard to come by on here. Maybe email or call Jeff at fast and he might know of somebody with a good crank. Jordon
  16. I you want to do this cheap, sell the banshee.. It's not worth doing it at all the cheap way. They are easy to work on. You can do it yourself with a clymers manual and the bottom end walk through thread in the tech section. You could buy a good used stock crank thats trued and welded for around a $100-$250 and you should probably freshen up the top end too while you have it apart. Probably around $150-$250 depending on what parts you use and if you take your cylinders in for a hone or bore. But like I said, do it the right way or don't do it at all. There is no such thing as "cheap" when it comes to fixing a banshee. If you save a few hundred in the beginning you will endend up spending even more down the road anyways. Jordon
  17. Tranny- sold Crank- spoken for
  18. It says that in the post and says $75 shipped. Read twice type once.
  19. Is this what you are looking for? You made absolutely no sense at all in that post...
  20. Wait, so you put on different carbs because they were jetted for your T5's instead of just jetting the carbs you had on already?
