I found it I think,the dyno run files are run 1 to run 7, there could not have been any tuning, jet change or timing change after the first 3 pulls? Others have said Snipers need more fuel on gas than most other pipes, if anyone else has tuned in Snipers on gas, can you add to this if it's true?

So nobody knows why the Sniper pipes lost 13hp on one dyno and the Shearers made the same on both? Too lean maybe, I have gained 9hp before with just a jetting change on gas.

Sniper pipes are the only ones in the world that can say "They make 10 more horsepower and 10 less horsepower than Shearer"

Ok, why did the Shearer pipes make the same power on both dynos 110hp and the Sniper make 113hp on one and 99hp on the other?

Looks like Windy is ignoring the fact that the 10 horsepower gain was inframe to inframe, now the posts are of Shearers best drag pipes and a out of frame Sniper has a three horsepower gain.

Has anyone ever even talked to Sandtrax to see if the dyno sheets are legit or at least see what they say about it? The dyno sheet shows a 10 hp gain, the Cub shows to make 103.5hp/Sniper in-frame and 93.5/Shearer in-frame. 918-445-4153 Passion does seem to be the only builder that shows the data on the dyno runs and a phone number to verify legitimacy.

You would think if Snipers quality forces Shearer to build a better fitting and better plated pipe, all people that are going to buy new Shearers would be happy!

People can say Shearer or CPI, Shearer or Grand River and Shearer or Toomey and nothing, not hardly any response at all. But the first time anyone says Shearer or Sniper, you would think a nuclear explosion just went off, Why? Its because Sniper is different and not just another copycat pipe, its not a Shearer pipe that has been tweaked a little to get a performance gain, it has a totally different power curve and that scares some people. JMO Watching video of the Passion/Sniper KX85 spanking the 150 four strokes in a drag race may not seem like anything special, its just probably never ever been done before????????

I think we should keep it technical and state the facts when one out performs the other, at the track or on a dyno, even butt dyno comparisons can tell a lot. I feel we should be thankful to have more than one good product to chose from. I can guaranty there will be posts where Shearer out performs Sniper, same thing with Sniper out performing Shearer. When it comes to quality, Sniper may force Shearer to raise the bar, and I am sure he will!

Sniper and Passion are building pipes and engines for dirt bikes, check out these videos of a KX85 putting the hole shot on a hole mess of 150 four strokes. Talk about acceleration and explosive power.

Brad, how hard are Snipers to tune in? How long did it take or how many trips to the track to get it to run like it does now?

99mph in 500 feet on gas, that's sick. Don't guess you were all that worried about your engine being in the Passion/Shearer challenge!!!!

In the video, you only out mph'd the other guy by less than .5 mph but you won by almost 4 tenths. That bike pulls hard in the middle of the track and seems to be very explosive. What is your true opinion on what some call peaky torque and no usable power versus broad power?

The fighting in this thread has nothing to do with Sniper, its because Passion's 421 cub has walked all over every Nate Mccoy 421 cub in the Oklahoma area races, and at Whitefield. In some of those races, the Passion engine had Shearer pipes. Most of the haters naturally have Mccoy engines or input from him.

I heard it was a stock chassis racing against drag bikes, and also your are not a little guy and have to race with the jockeys!
