ive got to do a little more investigation. that cable didnt have more than 20hrs on it and everything was cleaned and greased. i think the end that was on the cable wasnt the right one for that style of thottle.

Had this happen today. I'm thinking the cable was rubbing somewhere in the housing. Its was a pretty clean break. It broke about 1/4" from the ball where it hooks up in the housing. For you guys that have already done this mod it might be worth checking out.

Running one too. I don't think its a matter of being easier to push. I think its the location. Seems a lot more comfortable.

i had a lock up on it a while back and i couldnt get it to shift for shit with it. soon as i took it off it shifted just fine. right now im running staggered 3hd 3 stock springs. i pondered hydraulic clutches but dont like the reliability factor. it just annoys me to be ridding all day with a pull like that. how does the sling shot work?

pondering the idea of running a fast clutch with stock springs on the following parts: fast dune port, 33pwks, +4 timing, noss head 21cc domes, vf3 reeds, t5s etc. just the basic trail dune bike mods. my question is do you think that the clutch will hold up with stock springs? im kind of sick of the pull on the lever with the asv shorties and i dont personally feel like heave springs help that much.

Checked it. Everything looks fine. To me it wouldn't make sense if it was that. If you pull in the clutch or touch the gas the sound goes away. Wouldn't that noise still be there if it was the kicker gear assembly?

Getting ready to address this issue. Started on it last night. Any other ideas to look for? It's been ridden quite a few times since the original post. Hasn't gotten any worse. Like I said before it shifts fine runs great but occasionally makes this noise at a really low idle. If you pull in the clutch or touch the gas it goes away. The noise is definately coming from the left side of the engine.

A week or so ago I contacted ATV galaxy about getting a set of Elkas for my father in laws bday. They replied back saying the shocks were back ordered for 3 weeks. I was kind of anxious for the father inlaw to have the shocks before our riding trip. After a few hours of searching around at various other internet sites they all had the same answer. After a small bs session in the shout box mike said let me make a few calls and see what I can do. To make a long story short he worked some magic and had the shocks to my door with time to spare. I've ordered thousands of dollars worth of parts from this place without an issue.
