Ok. I can agree with that that. Just hit me wrong when you say my post was ignorant. I do ride better than most people in my area(with the exception of a handful) and that does play a big part. I also agree that some bikes run better than others. I have seen a built 450r that i thought was amazing. I didnt ride it i just saw the guy hammering down on it up some hills. Sorry if i came off as a dick. But i was really telling it like it is about quads i have had. I realize alot of people get on here and bullshit but im not one of those guys. Its all good though. My banshee beat everyone of them i have several people on here that were around and can verify that. I get on here because alot of these guys have helped me with my project. My bike is the same way motorwise it was when i had my yfz and ltr.... WITH THE EXCEPTION of my coolhead and pipes. I wish you still had your yfz 450 because we are on a public forum... I would get you to bet whatever you make in a year that you couldnt spot me 3 bike lengths and beat me. He is a retard lol... A banshee with pipes and filter will beat any 450 made. I wouldnt just say that but i had a yfz, an ltr, 3 hondas and i own one now. I have had my banshee through all of them with dg pipes an a filter it beat every quad i had by a decent amount. The ltr was the closest. All my bikes had pipes, filters, and jetted. THe ltr had a full yoshimura and a programmer.

Sounds like its best to stay stock. Mike o check pm my brother. james berry about that bottom end. He has everything from the cylinders down minus the side covers... He will take care of you. Its my old bottom end. At least that will give you good cases

wow. I have always just run castrol 10w 40 motor oil and it always looks great. I still have the stock clutch in my 99.. I think I know it hasnt been changed in the last 3 years

Travis is an awesome guy. I bought some cylinders from him. I just looked at one and it was nice. The impressive part about him is while i was building my quad i called him and asked him a question. He promptly answered it and said if i needed anything else to call him. I seriously called this guy at 9 at night and 9 in the morning everytime i call he answers or calls me right back. He is a great asset to this communtiy

Excellent buyer. I had some expensive shocks for sale. He asked me to hold them for 3 days and i did he ended up paying me the next day. A week later i need a part he had and he was gonna send it for free. Not many people like that around. Russ i appreciate you

Its none of my business... but i had a similar problem i sold a header for a nissan and dhl lost it. I didnt have insurance and they admitted they lost it. I never got any thing out of them. Guys you have got to insure packages. Anything especially if it is over 100 bucks. Infamous is a good buddy of mine. He sent me a powdercoated swingarm in trade for a hydraulic clutch. Im sent it with 150 of insurance. The part he sent me was a 60 dollar part you have to cover yourself. I hate this for all parties involved. I have personally been through it..

So if you just keep it stock with bolt ons the motor will last that much longer??? When mine was stock i bet it had over 500 hours on it

Take ur time. tear it down one day check all the parts order what you need and spend a day putting it back together

I would remove the plastics, gas tank you will have to unbolt the carbs and get them out of the way. Unplug some of the wiring and move it. Then unbolt the cylinders and slide them off. You can do it in a couple days taking your time.

Whats the best you can do on the cylinders? And do you need any parts I have a complete bike im parting
