  9. Hey guys, I'm in the market for some new J-arms and swingarm I am trying to decide what combination of width/length that I want. Right now I am running stock arms & a +6 extended stock swingarm, not sure that I like the 6" swingarm as it feels like the tires are too far out from underneath the bike which seems like I am loosing traction during acceleration & braking. Theres a set of Stellar J-arms up for sale in for sale section that are stock width/+3 forward that I've been considering buying, anyone have any experience with +3" forward arms for dune riding? I was thinking I could run +3 arms to extend the front out a bit and then run a +4" swingarm instead of the setup I am currently running but not sure how the bike would handle for dune riding. Right now my front end is a little narrower than the rear so I'd like to also get them about the same width for better handling, If I was to go with those arms that are for sale I would have to run a wider offset wheel to change the width but i've heard that causes unwated bump steer??? Any suggestions here would be appreciated! Here are specs of my bike incase anyone is wondering; -+4MM short rod stroker -Fully race ported -LRD Exhaust +4 Timing -65.5MM Bore -34MM PJ's -Custom RK Tek Cool Head & Domes -R1 Clutch setup with DD Lock up clutch -25X12X9 12 paddle extreme haulers -
  10. I bought mine about 5 years ago
  11. Yeah it sucks but at the time I got a good deal on it from my buddy who worked at cycle gear. I think it retailed for little over $500 but he got it for me for around $400 so I cant complain I guess.
  12. Man I think I paid almost 400 for my fluidyne radiator
  13. Has anyone had a problem with their clutch adjustment arm hitting the nut on the bottom of the carbeurator bowl? I have 34MM PJ's with UPP intakes and the clutch adjustment arm is hitting the nut on the bottom of the bowl, what have you done to fix this problem? I may try to file the nut down a bit to see if I can gain enough clearance but i'd like to see what others are doing first. Thanks
  14. I shot an E-mail off to Driveline Performance to see if the springs that come with the kit are supposed to be that stiff, they said they are pretty stiff even compared to the stiffer barnett ones and suggested that I swap out 3 of the springs for softer ones since I will be using a lock out anyways. I am going to change out the cable and lever to see if it makes any of a difference but I have a feeling changing out the springs is going to be the best bet
  15. I would think that if there was a problem with the cable I would have noticed it with the old clutches too. There is no getting used to how stiff this clutch is, especially because I do alot of drag racing and could not quickly shift through the gears. Anyone have first hand experience with this clutch kit?
  16. I just installed my driveline performance slingshot lock up and R1 Clutch kit, the clutch kit is the dune/trail version which uses 20% stiffer springs than stock but the clutch lever is soooo hard to pull I don't think I could ride longer than 5 minutes without getting a cramp. Has anyone else ever used this kit? If so, how stiff was your clutch? I have a MSR EZ Pull Lever and it is still pretty hard to pull, Previously I was running 3 stock springs & 3 stiff barnett springs and it was not even half as hard to pull.
  17. Looking to get my +4Mil banshee dyno tuned in a couple weeks so I'm trying to figure out which company to take it to I would really like to take it to someone that specializes in drag banshees just cause they might be able to get the absolute maximum power out of the bike, here are the companies I am considering. Which one would you go to and why? -Redline Racing -White Knuckle Racing -LED Performance -Cascade Performance Please dont just say because they are a site sponsor that you should go to them, give me a reason why if you have one. I live near Olympia, Washington so if you know of somewhere reputable in Washington I am open to suggestions, Thanks guys!

  22. I PM'd Ya the other day but haven't seen a response yet
  23. What size tires are you running and what gear are you launching in?
  24. Has anyone compared the LRD adjustable exhaust system to In Frame CPI's or Shearers? I've got the LRD stuff on my +4MM Banshee & would like to know how they compare. Don't care to hear peoples opinion on what exhaust they recommend if they do not have any facts to back up their reasoning.
