i did the yfz450 conversion. i am all done but one of the shocks I have a problem with. I am cranking the springs all the way down for ride height. I got one side down easy. The other side went down about an inch. It does not look cross threaded. But now i can't move the ring in either directions. I have used chanel locks and a big flat head with hammer, no budge. Any ideas on how to move the ring?

Update: If you use yfz450 balljoints (12mm) banshee are 10mm. He sent me 10mm, I emailed him and he sent 12mm at no extra charge. Great seller. the tie-rods measure 13 1/8". He calls them +2 banshee tie-rods.

I know lonestar sells a "D-arm" aka converts to "A-arms" I think the kit includes brackets. If you can find the directions....

Unless its in really good condition, I would agree $1000 on the high side $600 on the low side.

i dont have Full Flight Arms. But I did the 450 conversion and ordered Full Flight +2 Tie Rods. They sent them out fast, and when I got them they were to small (10mm) I emailed him and I sent back the 10mm for 12mm. Great customer service.

I think the shock price is just for the fronts only.

I did the yfz450 conversion. I now need the longer tie-rods. I was wondering if anyone has bought the Full Flight banshee +2 tie-rods? How do they work, long enough? I was going to use the '05 yfz450 tie-rods ends. I looked it up they are the same as banshee tie-rod ends.

I used yfz450 spindles. The angle looks good, i will try to get some pics this weekend. How long are the Raptor shocks eye to eye? I heard some people with the conversion are running the yfz450r shocks. They are 18 1/4 eye to eye/

Stock Banshee brake lines are plenty long. I even have the yfz450 calipers. But I think it would be a good upgrade for the yfz450 master cylinder and longer tie-rods.

I got the spacers. My question, can you run yfz450 brake lines?

I am changing out the whole front end off my 2000. I will be selling it for $200 + shipping. Whole front end includes: uppers, lowers, tie-rods, shocks, hubs, discs.

what is the price on a rebuild and spring change?

155 main and 42 pilot is stock for sea level. And that is to rich at that. At 6000ft they put in 150 main. But if you were to dyno tune it you would probably go down to a 145 main.

Does anyone make the spacers for the lower arms? I am about to install the 450 front end and wanted to know if anybody sells the spacers or do i have to get them custom made.

Where can you buy the spacers for the lower arms? I bought a set off a guy uppers,lowers,spindles,shocks,tie-rods, and came with gyt-r skid plate for $250, Then sold the skid plate on ebay for $60. I am going to start this project soon. I just need to order the 450 hubs and calibers.

I hear cometic gaskets are the best... Where can I find them for between the cylinder and the reeds?

I have a yfz450 dyno tuned @ 6000ft. I am running a 158 main, 45 pilot, NCVQ needle down 2, full Alba exuast, velocity air filter (no lid), and Cam Mod (2hp gain). IMP 175 is way too rich. I would try a 168. Also they put in a #35 leak jet.

I see on Toomey's webpage they say to run 250's, but with ported cylinders.. 300? I dont want to blow it up? "06specialedition" 310 on your mains? Is that dyno tuned?

I have 2000 Banshee I picked up about a month ago. This is what it has, Toomey T-5's, V-Force 3's, K&N in box no lid, cylinders are ported. The main is 330. This setup is for sea elevation. I ride @ 6000-9000 FT. I am taking off the stock box and going to run twin K&N's. It has a cool head but not sure what domes it has. The guy I bought it from said he was running 100 octane. So I am running the same 100 octane and mixing 40:1. I was thinking dropping my main jet down to 310???? What do you think?

would you sell the black tank cover seperate?
