    For about 750+ shipping you should b able to get a set of stock cyls with pistons and domes that are ported and ready to bolt on. Is this a bad idea?

    Practice will help more than anything. Getting your gearing right and launching in 2nd. Rev it out.. dump the clutch and then slightly pull it back in and let it back out. By now your ready for 3rd gear And you can control it with throttle... results may vary.

    Just what I was told.. and why im asking but load=heat. If I dont gear to 100+mph with interia it doesnt get enough load to show power.. makes sense

    Someone roosted zilla.. haha I have been running a tock air box with a pro flo uni filter and dont have trouble.. do you have the pkug in the bottom of your air box?

    Could also be a screw behind flywheel moving around. Take cover and flywheel off and inspect!
