  2. Got a set of 39 pwks setup on alky. 124 dumps, 120 mains. 55-60 pilots EGL needles. Billet bowls. wanting a set of 38-41mm alky lectrons. Maybe gas lectrons
  3. That is very interesting. I did the leak Down at 5psi and held 30 min. Did a leak down at 7psi and held 30 min. Got curious and went to 9psi and leaked instantly on top of one of the power valves. The exhaust leak has me curious. I did notice it was making an unusual mess on the motor. Dunes where ruff as hell.

  5. Yes 9 heat range. And a 18-20 gap. Isn't a new build. It's ran well for a while. That's very so similar to what this is acting like. Sometimes it gets that lean 'crack' sound but blowing tons of fuel out.
  6. Plug chops earlier that day where about 1/3 of heat on the plug. Cyl temp on either side is was about 100-105*. When it started doing this the stator side stayed about 100* but clutch side was in the 80s
  7. Did a leak down find that seal leaking? Which seal was it?
  8. I'm headed home. Didn't have a leak down tester with me. Didn't pull head. Did look in the cyls with a bore scope. Didn't see anything unexpected.
  9. Went to dunes this weekend. Bike was doing fine. Pulled into camp, had lunch. Went back out and bike wouldn't run. Starts and idles normal, runs fine till 1/2 throttle. Over that it falls on it's face. Kinda fills like its crazy rich. Swapped over from another bike the coil, stator, flywheel, wiring harness.Tried new and old plugs. Swapped over the other bikes carbs. Pulled reeds and power valves and inspected them. Tried a buddies alky. Did a compression test. Swapped whole fuel tank and pingle...I'm baffled....Bikes a stock stroke 68mm PV cheetah. 38 alky lectrons. Tried going up and down on needle. And adjust pj, made no diff past 1/2 throttle. Redline port and domes. It's been fine and ran flawless many weekends till it sat literally an hour... Any help is appreciated!!!
  10. Done some reading and I think I can get my hands on the whole tower assembly outa some other carbs. So maybe I can start fresh!
  11. 100% sure. Pulled carbs off and tossed my other bikes carbs on and ran good. These on other bike ran with same symptoms. My old lady was pissed. (Her bike) lolol
  12. With .124 mains it wouldn't even run on purge fuel other than just bearly idle, from what I assume was crazy richness
  13. I have a set of .124 mains it woudknt even rev up. Just blow tons and tons of alky. Had needle all over. Bearly responded. Put .120s in it and it's a little better but still junk. It's always started and idled perfect. Soon as u crack the throttle it'll blow raw alky. I've tried the pj almost closed and it still won't clean out. But while revving trying to clean out it's not pulling fuel through the pj's. I'm kinda kicking my own ass. Had lectrons and wanted to give pwks a try. Thus far this has sucked. Lol

  16. Needing advise on my carb setup. I can't get it cleaned out worth a damn to take off. Just falls on it's face for about 50ft then cleans up and takes off. Been as low as 15-42 trying to leave in 1st and still won't take off. Quite a bit of fuel being blown out as soon as I crack the throttle. Would you go smaller mains and pilots or just mains? Tried timing from 4-8* without change and needle from top to bottom. 39pwks. .120 mains. .126 dumps. 60 pilots. 10mil cub. 42 squish 190 kicking psi. Any advise would be appreciated!!
