ok so i got a clymers manual, wasnt to much of a mission, in the manual it says to torque the clutch pressure plate bolts to torque setting in "table 3" but "table 3" is weight specification, table 6 has torque specs but just has the specs for the size of the bolt, should i just torque the bolts to the 6mm spec as shown in table 6? cheers
yeah it just f*cked up, took the housing off so will be taking it into work today to try extract the stud, mite be able to drill it out from the back as the holes go all the way through but will just have to make sure its dead centre so it dosnt damage the thread
was putting it all back together and one of the 6 pressure plate bolts snaped, god damn it 1 thing after another, going to be a bitch to try extract it from its housing, oh well it has to be done
hey whats up, just refitting my clutch, just woundering about the clutch plates, if they have to slot in a certain way? since they have the knobly bit on the outside, wasnt sure if you put them in, in a criss-cross patter or maybe it dosnt matter ??
sweet cheers for the feedback guys, problem is all sorted now, well thats what i think without having test ridden it yet, seems to click through gears fine on the bike stand so will see how she runs in a couple of weeks. im am living in new zealand, getting a manual over here will just take a bit longer than going down the road and getting a haynes manual but got to pay the cost to be the boss. cheers again
