  1. Cheers man, i can change quantity too 2 and also with the extra width i can adjust to suot with adjustable width axle aslong as the splines the same and wheel stud pattern is the same im happy also. Cheers for the reply/info
  2. these are the hubs i am looking at also....... http://www.ebay.com/itm/YAMAHA-YFZ450R-YFZ450X-YFZ450-YFZ-450-R-X-REAR-WHEEL-HUB-LEFT-RIGHT-2015-2014-/282099341130?hash=item41ae6e574a:g:5PsAAOSww9VXhYu5&vxp=mtr
  3. Hey all, back in october i had a decent crash on my banshee and now im in the process of building it back up. my rear hubs are bent so am looking for new hubs, does anyone know if 2014/2015 yfz450 hubs will fit a banshee? im not too interested in the price for billet banshee hubs and can not find any oem hubs other than cascade but they will not ship overseas to me. there's no new ones at a reasonable price on ebay but have found some yfz450 items on ebay, any info would be appreciated. Cheers
  4. Also had issues, i bought a full set, front, rear, radiator, tank plastics, none of them fit well, spent a couple of hours cutting and shaping to get them to fit, the front is now pretty much a 1 piece unit all secured together so it fits correctly, even the holes for the rears were not in correct location. would have sent back if i wasn't a overseas buyer.
  5. i cant edit my previous post, but a couple of weeks back i found the oversized radiator had a crack in it, i repaired that and also went up 1 pilot size and it is still getting hot, this is how i got to the leak down test now as i thought the cracked radiator was the issue. im still running oem water pump drive gear and oem impeller, but do have the mull alloy drive gear and high flow impeller sitting here but i dont believe this will help my situation. externally the radiator is clean, there is no debris stuck in the fins etc. faults are either air leak, internally blocked radiator, fucked radiator cap
  6. bit of and update on this. yesterday i had the chance to put the bike on its stand and pull shit off, having done a leak down test it will lose 2 psi in 4 minutes. im not 100% confident in the way the pressure gauge attaches so ill be looking for another option today. with 6psi in the motor i am unable to find a leak, inspected intake, exhaust, around the head and base gaskets, top/bottom case seam, pto side seal and shaft, stator side seal, around trans breathers, blocked trans breathers, cooling system. might be parked up for a wee bit as its time for some bike maintenance as i need a new tether kill switch as the tusk one i got shat its self, want some bar risers, need to address the lack of braking, need to make mounts on swing arm for skid plate, and probably make a full body skid at the same time
  7. yeah will do as ive got a leak down tester, will take some extra jets next time just incase it gets hot and swap them out to see if a difference is made that was the first thing i inspected as still has the oem plastic impeller (which looks in good shape ), the mull impeller should flow more but that dosnt mean its going to cool the bike down more. i did have a crack in the radiator which i thought was the issue as it wasnt pressurising the system, but now thats been fixed the issue is still there.
  8. 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, full throttle passes were made. see how the jetting was set up. then some full throttle passes made for power runs i guess you would call them. 3hrs spent for dyno time, includes setting up bike and jet changes etc. it wasnt a quick throw it on, make best highest number and leave.
  9. has been dyno tuned with air/fuel measured when tuning. no discoloration on pipes at all. i could go larger in jet sizes next time its out to see if it helps if i start having issues though i want to go fast all the time, but sometimes its just not possible haha
  10. Hey all, just wondering if anyone out there has had any issues with a 421 serval getting up in engine temp when not flat out, ive noticed the temp getting up there when i get into tight slow trails, and hot weather dosnt help either. on my set up for cooling ive got a noss cool head and a gpi alloy radiator (that im not impressed with). i do have a mull high flow impeller sitting there but not fitted to the bike. interested to hear what others have done. cheers
  11. all sorted, some sprockets arrived for me on friday, so better go put them on now
  12. cheers for that man, i still need rears aswell though. ended up ordering some
  13. No it shouldnt take 2 weeks. But to get it here and try some sizes before an event would be the smart option. All i can find in nz is 13/14/15 for front and 40/41 for the rear
  14. Hey, looking at alternative size sprockets, front and rear. who can you recomend that doesn't muck around getting shit shipped internationally . just found out about a sprint race in 2 weeks and could be keen to run. currently running 15/41 with 20" rear tyres. alternatively do sprockets from any other quads fit the banshee ?
  15. thats fair enough, i still reckon he can eliminate the cable then rip the clutch cover off for a look though
  16. you wont need a tool to hold the clutch basket or flywheel.
  17. ive got the xfr nerfs, the thing i dont like about them is you have to use the kick starter with your heel, i see some other dudes are running them too. i dont know if ya get used to it or not but im thinking about modifying mine. other than that they are sweet
  18. Got it sorted now. If the front of the air box sits ontop of the mount it lines up sweet and will stay supported aswell. Fliping the outlet of the airbox dosnt work either. The middle holes that screw it down are offset for some crazy reason
  19. about to go have a look at it now, will see what i can do. just thought there may have been another manifold etc that may have suited better before chopping airbox or frame. cheers though
  20. no sand here for me to ride on, lots of mud and water and i dont steer clear of it, crossing shallow rivers and streams isnt uncommon on rides. and i cant say no to doing some donuts in mud, especially when someone is going to wear your roost's even cutting the tabs off would still make it line up like shit i think, ive got some carb to airbox adaptors. bit guttered the people i have bought the parts off have never mentioned that i would have dramas running a stock airbox with the carb/intake manifold combo i have. ill try messing with the stock airbox as ive already bought a pro design/uni filter intake kit which aint cheap enough to just throw away in favor of some pods. but if i have too ill just build my own airbox
  21. As per the title, whos running a serval/cub,pwk carbs and a stock airbox? went to fit up my air box today but its a bit off, my set up is serval cylinders, 35mm PWK's, UPP intakes. as you can see in the photo its a bit off, maybe i could rotate the carb end of the air box 180 degrees to get a better angle ? let me know if you have come across this and how you fixed it please.
  22. Some parts have come from f.a.s.t have done 2 orders and emailed both times. Had a reply within 24hrs
