  1. I saw the same thing!! Is there somthing to this?? What colors go where?? I bought mine used and the orange is on the (-) and the black is on (+) doesnt seem right to me!! Any one have any input?!
  2. Yeah I think your right. I have the stock housing. I didnt know if you could get other domes to fit in the stock housings. Does any one know if you can?? Or is that just a dumb idea??
  3. I ran the tusk bulbs this last time at the dunes and hated them... They are alot brighter than stock but are more of a spot light. They had a very narrow feild of view, If they were more of a flood it would of been better.. in my opinion.
  4. Tell me if its just the pic but in the second to last pic of the under side, it looks like the swing arm is bent at the housing. Maybe just the way the pic was taken
  5. I have the same issue with the fuel line going over the dumb boost bottle. I have never had any fueling issues, And guys correct me if i'm wrong but dont you need a balance tube in there th make them run right?? Just what I was told from some other people.
  6. I had my head milled .040 and was told by my engine builder that it has 19cc domes when he was done with them. Dont know if this helps.

  10. Thanks for taking the time to read this. What is the little pilot in the bottom side of the throat of the carbs for? Mine has a 1.6 on it. Do they need adjusted? what does it do? Next, do I need to run 110 oct I have 130psi in both cylinders, +5 timming Mild dune port head has been milled .040 (19cc) or so i'm told. Weldded crank k&n pods 310 mains 25 pilots needle 3rd clip. I ride at 5000ft. The compression test was done at 2400ft. And advise would be great. Thank you..
  11. Thanks for the info. Yeah my 310's are a touch on the rich side as well. Like you i'm ok with that, we ride pretty hard in the sand. Better to be safe than be pulled.
  12. Thanks for the responces. I was working all weekend, so no time to try anything yet. I'll be working on it tonight. I'll let you guys know what I did and how it worked. Thanks again. Almost time for a dune trip!!!!

  14. Ok I have read post for three days! Eyeballs are going to fall out of my head. I have a bottom end bog that I cant get rid of. I ride at St, Anthonys sand dunes (5000 Ft, about) I have a mild dune port, Milled .040 head (19cc domes) t5 pipes. VF3's and cages. lightend flywheel. stock carbs k&n pods. 310 mains 27.5 idle. I think i'm out 1 turn fuel/air. I run 110 oct fuel. +5 woodruff key (installing an adjustable timming plate this weekend). Also crank is welded and trued. Aftermarket crank berings and heavy clutch springs. As soon as it comes off the pipe even a little it just quits pulling. Any help or ideas? Thank you in advance!!

  22. Darker on one side of the plug. Both plugs look pretty much the same.
