I have a set of used Elka Shocks. They are in pretty good shape. They are currently on my Yamaha banshee. They were previously on a yamaha blaster. I know the shocks were set up for a 200-225lb rider MX style riding. I am only 135lbs and the shocks are just to stiff for me to ride in the woods and rocky trails that we ride. They are 14-3/4" in length eye to eye. The serial # is E131062 and E131063. I'm looking to get $300 for them or a partial trade for other shocks that will work. I am looking at buying another set of shocks soon so would like them gone as soon as possible. The shocks I want are $350 so I need as much as possible so I can get the other shocks.

Its a very good looking bike but not $12,000 good looking. I would rather have $12,000 than have that banshee.

I turned 16 on January 28 and in Pennsylvania you can get your driving permit at 16. Well I have been wanting a truck for my first car but my parents decided they were going to get me a truck for my birthday but they kept it a secret. Well when i got home from school my parents told me they did something to my banshee so we walked to the garage and when i looked in they said "what we did to ur banshee was put it in the back of ur truck" I really like the truck, what do u guys think... What do ur elkas measure from eye to eye?

I willl post the measurement tomorrow. The elkas just seem like they dont have any rebound (For example: if u jump on the front bumper, my banshee only goes down about 2-3 inches)

Im going to measure tomorrow because its 11:40p.m. where i live. What size are banshee shocks from eye to eye?

What is the headache about yfz shocks? I think the problem is that i used to have a yamaha blaster with the elkas on it and once i got my banshee i switched the shocks over so im not sure if the shocks should be on the banshee

I have Elka front shocks but they need to be rebuilt and are not comfortable at all. If i had yfz front shocks will thye bolt right onto my front a arms? I have heard there are different kinds of yfz shocks, which type of yfz shocks are the best for banshees. (If it helps, i weigh 130lbs)

Get fullbore plastics if u dont have an oversized gas tank and if u dont mind not having front fenders. Between OEM and Maier... definitely get Maier. Maier plastics are stronger (ALOT stronger) and they have more curves in the plastic which makes theyu look better.

Verizon is better than ATT and sprint. I know many people that have both of them and never have any reception and they never have 3G/4G. I have the Droid X from Verizon and it is amazing. I have never not had reception, never dropped a call, always have 3G. And as far as pictures and videos go, the Droid X has an 8 megapixel camera and HD Video. If u want to see the picture quality, look at my signature because i took those pictures with my phone

If u r going to get a 450, u should go ahead and get a Polaris Predator 500. I have 3 polaris predators and a polaris outlaw. All of those bikes have amazing power and r really fun to ride. Our predators r stock except for an exhaust and they will destory a 450 everytime. Also, we got our predators for $1200, $1500, and $1250 so they r much cheaper than any 450 out there.

Sorry to interupt ur post but i have a question. Its probably a dumb question but what does bump mean?

I had the same no bottom end problem. All i did was rejet it and rebuild the carb because all the gaskets were old etc. and now it runs like a dream. I could be in 6th gear goin 10mph and it still wont bog

I wasnt saying that a crossover tube is needed in order to run, i was just stating what the mechanic said, and when i thought about it it kind of made sense. I do know that the tube does increase ur throttle at low end and without the tube it is more likely to bog out at low rpms. So i wasnt trying to say that u dont need the tube, i was just saying that it makes sense that it would help to have one.

U do need a crossover tube. When i just rejetted my banshee a couple weeks ago, i talked to the mechanic about boost bottles and the stock tube. You DO need it because if the carbs are not tuned 100% equally then the crossover tube allows the difference to flow between the carbs and equal it out. Without the crossover tube, u will notice a distinct difference in performance, it will run as if it needs to be tuned.
