  1. It's in the post as we speak might be here tommorow if not Monday, it has the black flames on the side. They look more red than orange though.
  2. I just bought an 08 front fender, got it at a bargain price of $23 off of eBay. I missed out on the rear that only went for about $45, I never got a reminder email and forgot I bid on it otherwise i'd of bid up on that. Midweek auctions never do well, the guy tried to scare me saying it may get damaged in the post and offered me a refund. No doubt so he could re-list it!
  3. He may be referring to stellar?
  4. I bet the postage would be high on that!lol
  5. Aren't the matoon ones unfinished, I.e. Unpolished?
  6. T6's will be ok for a non ported motor, once ported you'll see better gains with the t5's or pc's.
  7. Thanks for that, I gave my battery an overnight charge and everything powered up and run great. I charged it no so long ago but obviously must of run down. So I may stick with this and use that money to buy a trickle charger to keep it topped up.
  8. I bet when he got down he was like " yeah I meant to do that", while all the people behind are laughing at his shit stained trousers!!lol
  9. Would something like that be able to handle 140w? I'm planning on running 110w on my headlights, then I have rear stop/tail, side repeaters/markers and a horn. And could that be wired into the dc circuit and be charged by the bike? The only reason I'd used that particular battery is because I used a Ktm battery tray, they're only about $10-12 and bolt up under the seat connected to 2 l shaped brackets.
  10. Just thought I'd ask what batteries your using on your dc conversions? At the moment I'm using a Ktm ytx5l-bs which runs at 4ah, and am considering running a slightly bigger ytx7l-bs which is 6ah. Anyone tried different batteries and noticed much difference?
  11. Macho and mr t would of been a good collaboration...
  12. Thanks.
  13. Voltage at the battery, I'd of thought it'd be set at the 20 at the top left?
  14. everything is sorted now, got my new led rear light running right. Anyone familiar with a multimeter? They don't come with a whole lot of instructions and I haven't used one since school. I just wanted to measure the current coming going to the battery.
  15. Right, I have my lights working now. I think my battery may need a good charge, I've got the charger rigged ip to the bike and everything came on without the bike running. Now all I've got to do is see why my tail light won't turn off!!
  16. Everybody wants to be a pa.... http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=9&ved=0CE4QtwIwCA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fvimeo.com%2F37115114&ei=2kw7UO3FOuPJ0QXq8YH4CQ&usg=AFQjCNESgCChu64lTDUv4qXit6f3JAOXXQ
  17. Oh yeah I forgot to mention the dc reg/rec has 4 wires.... 2yellow 1 red 1 black
  18. I just put the stock black wire to the ground on the frame and yellow/red wires to the battery and the lights came on. The thing is the side lights are still flickering as if u were running an ac circuit? And they're only 5w the main only powers up with the throttle open? Here's what I've done... The yellow wire and the White one from the stator are wired into the dc rec The red from the rectifier is run to the positive terminal The black to the negative The old blue ac wire discontinued The battery is also grounded And as mentioned above .... Stock yellow/ red to the positive terminal And stock black to the ground I'm going to have to check the stator as it was supposed to been pre wired for dc
  19. So I run those two to the battery?
  20. I suppose he could be pretty deadly if they inhaled him or if they choked on one of his bones!lol
  21. 'was' he's dead, loved randy savage I have my xbox avatar dressed like him
  22. So I've just got done with doing the dc conversion followed all instructions based on this.... And I have these 3 wires left over, the blue from the old ac regulator and the two old wires that go the stator... On the instructions it says to eliminate the two old wires and run two new yellow ones to the new dc rectifier. The bike started and ran, and the lights all worked before changing the stator and wiring configuration. Any help would be gladly appreciated. Thanks Glen
