Gaskets......locktite.....wow Really trying to get some info on common parts that fail/wear as I dont really want to make opening my cases a yearly thing. -The more I price it out, to rebuild the crank and ship to weld, the idea of a 4mil kit has me thinking

split'n my cases this weekend......any sugg. on parts to order while its open. So far, I got shift star, pancake bearing, billet basket, hd clutch, eccentric kit, shifter rod/lever/ball. New bearings and seals for trans. Sending crank to get welded & new crank bearings, billet impellar & gear, new bearing and seal for pump. New shift forks. Missing anything???

First mod I did was FMF-SST exhaust w/powercore 2's. MAJOR UPGRADE!!! Helped solve my bottom end/mid complaint I had with my shee. Anything over stock is a great upgrade, pro-circut, t6's......

Well, guess I am split'n some cases this winter. I might just have to send my cylinders to get ported at the same time.. Is the spot weld on a stock crank enough (hope so) or is a hotrod crank worth the investment ?

What compression over stock can you run, before you need to start thinking about getting the crank welded? I am 2600 feet up, so stock for me is 115. I have some 19cc domes and pro-design cool head, which would put me at 160. I wanted to get some feedback, before I install. I have to order a o-ring kit anyway, so if needed I can also pick up some larger domes. Thanks!
