These motors from SVT are so detuned. They are a pulley change away from 450 hp. Add an exhaust some tuning and they are low 11 second cars. Also the corvette is atleast $10,000 more. With that much money I could easily drop it into the 10's and have enough left to build another banshee.

This has been touched before but here we go again. The oil should be mixed per manufacturers instructions. I run Amsoil at about 80:1 with no oil related problems.

Check his past sales. You may notice the name several times. If you see it on diferent kinds of items then that would be a good sign of it.

Mine did the same thing. I lost a ring on one cylinder. The compression was down to 120 from 145. I ran it until 100 then rebuilt. I haven't put the motor back in yet to see if it is fixed but I would definately check the compression with a guage.

I have one of each. I love the banshee but I think I have had more fun on the blaster. I will abuse it in so many ways that I wouldn't my Banshee. There is nothing like big steep rocky mountians and a bunch of 4X4 bikes going slow and then me hauling ass up behind them. Oddly enough the only place I haven't made it through that the 4X4's did was about 2-3 feet of water. After it died I pushed it through, started it up and rode the rest of the day. By the way it is a 99, been stolen once and recovered, bent damn near everything on it in crashes. Been rode hard and put away wet and still on the original top end.

You probably shouldn't change on a high mileage car. It will make any small leak bigger. Amsoil is good stuff. My dad ran it in his semi's and I know two went over a million miles. I run their 2 stroke oil. This stuff is about 10 years old. I've been mixing it at 80:1. I don't know about reving better but my topend was going before I switched. As soon as I finish the rebuild and get it broke in I will be running it in there again.
