  1. Skidplate Sold . Thanks !
  2. Thanks for the info , I just measured the inlet and its 75mm bolt to bolt , you may have saved me a ton of time , thanks .
  3. and I can also just toss my twins back on anytime I wanna go to the drag strip ....... I like That I can make a 2 stroke more versatile , and It still sounds sick as hell .
  4. I like the 2-1 for simplicity , ease of maintenance and its the set-up I decided to go with , I'll check out mikuni , good idea . Sudco didn't have anything specific. I'm running a 38mm PJ on it , so the boot has to fit good , i dont want to stretch it and risk a air leak if it splits .
  5. I bought a Yamaha Exciter 440 intake manifold to mod for my shee , i'm either looking at making from scratch a carb flange and boot , or trying to find a 440 boot in good shape . anyone ever do this mod , use a boot from a different machine? any advice would be helpfull
  6. Got a Skidplate in good condition , has a dent on the chain side ( did its job ) Overall nice shape and ready to bolt on . I go skidless in the dunes so its just sitting around gathering dust .
  7. Im in the same boat , really like the Motofast 2-1 I scored , Its got the low end I wanted , Makes nice power on the top end and its not snapping my arms off when I get on it , Has given me a good , predictable power band so when I take it to sandlake and florence I can play all day in the razorbacks and fly over the rollers at winchester . I know most guys just have to have twins on their shee , I think if more people played with it a bit , I think it would catch on . But then again , I'm sure someone doesn't think so .......
  8. I'm the same way , lots of time it's 1st and 2nd gear , and having that extra low end will be preferrable .
  9. I have a Motofast 2-1 for my 2000 shee , I haven't run it yet because I need to finish modding a exciter 440 intake for my 2-1 carb set-up. The pipe fits perfect inside the frame with no clearance probs . I'm not running the airbox anymore . I ride at Sand Lake and Florence , Moses Lake , but also do some trail riding , and the low end power gains will ( I Think ) make the shee's powerband a little more predictable .
  10. How about carb cable? I'm staying with the thumb throttle , someone said 250r cable ? Any ideas .
  11. Hey guys , I am building a 2000 Banshee for mostly dunes , some trails / street riding etc etc . I've installed a 2-1 Motofast Pipe and FMF Spark Arresstor silencer , and I have a Trinity 2-1 Intake and Just picked up a 38mm PJ carb for it . I need a baseline jetting start point . Elevation won't ever be more than 1000 feet , Honestly 500 is highest the shee will ever see . I searched a bit and saw that keihin's kinda jet the same from 33's to 35's , but would like more info and confirmation on that . If the 38 is just to big , then I'd consider going to a 35mm airstryker . 3mm doesn't seem like much , especially when its feeding 2 cylinders .
  12. Does anyone have links to Motofast? I checked on Dynoports website and its down right now , I am looking into the 2-1 intake and exhaust combo , I want to play with something different for awhile .
  13. I Bought my 1st Banshee Today , Can't wait to mod it to the hilt . I'll be here lookin for advice .
