24/1 Is ALOT... I'd run 32/1 or 40/1. Before I built up mine I always just ran 40/1...

Yesterday it was mid 50's here and I had 30 min to go play on the shee, so I went out jumped on and took off. Moments later I realize I'm leaving a trail. I had gas screaming out of the overflows on my carbs:( not a major issue to fix but fuck!!! So much for my quick trip

I would love to ride a 421 serval with shearers on it just so I could see which set up I like better.

However you want to look at it your way to high... Someone could by that same engine set up for that price and it would be RUNNING!

So what I was meaning with the loss in my top end... I can feel a loss of power with the rockets in the top end compared to the low and mid on the rockets. But as far as the T5s go the rockets have way more up top. Does that make since? Lol

So I originally had T5's on my serval and I could tell they had alot more low end pull than these rockets. That being said, with these rockets I still have so much low end in the trails that I don't really want anymore. They pull very clean compared to the T5's and they pull alot longer. The T5's were hard to use on the serval in the trails because they were not smooth like the rockets, they seemed to be rather jerky in my opinion. I would say that on the serval the rockets are way better all the way around that the T5's. When I ran the T5's I also had the stock carbs. With the rockets I'm running 35pwks

I have the original rockets on my serval and I can really feel the loss in my top end... Other than that I love them

Idler gear maybe? But idk if that could cause it to lock up the rear end. Idk shit about the trannys. But I did have my idle gear come loose once and it sounds about like the sound your talking about

I know with my original rockets you can really tell in the top end when it quits pulling... It's like hitting a wall. But in low to mid they try and rip you off the seat

I have a 421 serval and I have no complaints!!! It has lots of low and mid power and still has a good amount up top. If I had it to do over again I would do the same thing... I'm running it with rocket pipes and 35pwk carbs. As far as fuel goes, it dosnt last as long as stock but I can still get plenty of ride time on 1 tank
