im almost done modding up my shee but im game. i work on next saturday so if you guys are gonna be there friday or sunday of next week let me know.

i lost the screws to the plate that says yamaha that goes on the clutch cover. i noticed it has a rubber seal on the inside so i didnt know if i could fill it with oil and run it or if i need to wait for the screws to come in. thanks

Im doing a rebuild on the shee and have ordered a new clutch cover gasket. I need to know if i need to use any gasket sealer on it when i put it in. i decided to put in a billet water impeller and when i took it apart yesterday realized my plastic gear was practically trashed, so good thing i did. thanks for the help.

hey im just ordering some parts today for this winter when i get some stuff done to the shee. so far i have a 2002 shee with black frame and white plastic, kenda front tires and razr rears with new dunlop rears sitting there...gonna get the rims powdercoated black. got new rear bearings and brakes. got a rear skidplate for hare scrambles next year, got new pro circuit pipes blacked out with nerf bars and a k and n filter with outerwears and no lid .TORS removed, HID headlights and LED lights on bottom. has full ohlins suspension front and rear, dg front bumper. Here is the thing....the engine is basically stock, has wiseco pistons at like .30 over if i remember right, as you can tell i got this thing bone stock basically. ive done no motor work at all to it. had it in the shop the other day for a kill switch installation and had them check everything over for me while it was in there. said my compression was on the low side. its running fine i didnt know if i should get some new clutch plates and heavy duty springs or not, was also thinking of putting in a billet water impeller but ive had no problems overheating. ive heard bad thing with the timing plates making the engines run all wierd over time. didnt know if anyone had an opinion on this stuff....

ive got to start posting more often lol! I wasnt trying to start a debate i just thought it was cool that the Banshee is at least seen in all of their magazines. I love my banshee and want it to keep living as for the fuel injection waaaay to much money for nothing i think. keep riding guys!

For some reason it hardly ever shifts into neutral while its running. When I kill it it pops into neutral just fine. Is this normal?

Just thought id let everyone know the newest dirt wheels magazine has a feature article on the cover of the return of the banshee and two strokes. There is a whole section on the new fuel injection system that a guy is now offering. Pretty good read and I love the mag and this site. Ride on banshee lovers!

Sorry guys won't be able to go my backup rides are all cleaned and and for sale so I don't wanna mess anything up. I'm planning on getting a new back up quad soon so ill get another trip going prolly in early sept when its cooler lol

Me too! That must be some hybrid mud out there. Just got the majority of it off today. I'm now Lubed up and maintainanced and ready for round two. Good call on that blech white stuff my plastic shines now.

Yah I definitely had a blast. That place rocks and you guys were fun to ride with hopefully we can do it again sometime.

Ive been wanting to go for a while now. Id be up for it. Got my shee a few weeks ago, and wanna see some sand. Let me know where i can meet up with you guys since ill be coming by myself. What all do you need to ride there?
